That BetMGM Risk-FREE Bet Will Reduce The Stress For CFL TNF!
What’s Going On?
It’s Week 6 of the CFL Season and it’s going well for those of us that like football in the summer. If you haven’t been betting the Thursday night game from our Northern neighbors, you really should. There’s no better time to start, then now, and on BetMGM.
They’re offering a bonus code, VIBONUS, that gets you a Risk-Free Bet of up to $1,000. Tonight, the last place Edmonton Elks 1-4 (2-3 ATS) are traveling to Montreal and getting 9 points (-110 either way) from an Alouettes 1-3 (3-1 ATS) team that has the same number of wins but is in 2nd place in the East division.
Thursday’s Total is set at 49.5 (-110 both ways) and if the points seem too many, you can get the home team on the Money Line at -370. Do you think the Elks have a shot at the outright win? You’ll get +295 if you’re right.
Why Should You Care?
This is an incredible deal, for US residents only, and you can use that $1,000 Risk FREE on a Thursday night football game in the summer! If you like cashing tickets, you’ll have another reason to care.
Handicapping Canadian football isn’t much different than wagering on any other type of pigskin. Winning at it, however, may be a little easier. There are just 9 teams in the league, so they only play 4 games a week. Most weeks, hitting 3 of 4 is a realistic goal. That’s a 75% winning percentage and exactly why you should pay attention.
Are The Edmonton Elks As Bad As Their Record?
If the Elks were in the East, they’d be in contention with Montreal for 1st Place. They’re not, and the four teams ahead of Edmonton in the rankings have won 16 of their 18 starts this season.
Edmonton is close to the bottom in most of the important offencive stats. They’re last in yards per game at 292, 2nd to the bottom with 76 yards rushing and their QBs have thrown 10 picks which leads the league. They traded their season starting #1 QB, Nick Arbuckle to Ottawa and tonight will go with Tyrell Richards in the first start of his career.
So, it’ll be up to the Elks on D to help that +295 ticket. Maybe not, this team gives up more yards per game than any of the others and much of that comes from that 77% completion rate they are allowing.
The Montreal Alouettes Must Be Better Since They’re In 2nd Place!
The East division is bad, that’s clear. Unfortunately for the Alouettes' head coach and their coordinator on defence, that wasn’t reason enough for them to keep their jobs. This team exits the first bye of the year with their GM Danny Maciocia on the sidelines as head coach.
ATS the Larks are 3-1 and that sounds a lot better than 1-3. They seem to be a different team at home.
Against the last five visitors the team saw 10 points or less scored in the 1st Half and the last 6 finals at home saw the visitors all score between 13-19 points. You should win a lot of games when the other team isn’t reaching 20 on the score board.

This road team allows points when they travel. In seven of the last eight away from home, opponents have scored double digit 1st half points. Every single game this year has seen them give up at least 25.
Montreal needs this game. The only problem is that winning and also covering are two different outcomes, but even laying -370 with Clayton Kershaw is risky.
Hopefully, new coaches on the home side will pump up the team. Starting an untested QB is difficult on any level of the sport. How cool is it that you can lay those 9 points and it’s Risk-FREE with that BetMGM VIBONUS Code. That deal sure will make watching this one a little less stressful.
