The Heat grabbed a huge win on the road in Game 3 as their offense came out firing, outscoring the Celtics 62 to 47 in the first half. The Celtics pushed back in that second half with help from Jaylen Brown who dropped 40 points, but it was not enough to tame Miami.

Today looks like a different story. Tyler Herro, the Miami Heat sharpshooter is out with a groin injury ahead of Game 4. Jimmy Butler is in the lineup, but he continues to battle knee issues as he was taken out during Game 3 after a questionable play from Payton Pritchard.

Erik Spoelstra also stated “Payton Pritchard grabbing Jimmy Butler’s knee was not a basketball play.” He also said at this point it is “too late to go to the league.”

Jimmy Butler played only twenty minutes in the first half of Game 3 and scored eight points with a total +/- of 13. He also grabbed three assists and two rebounds in the short time he was on the court.

This line sat around -6 most of the day, but has shot a whole point up to -7. The Celtics are currently pulling 61% of the handle on the spread at -7, so it looks like they are going to be the public play tonight. The under is also being favored at 206.5 pulling 78% of the handle.

Oddly enough the under is pulling 78% of the handle, yet the over had attracted 78% of the total bets placed. This could mean the sharps are looking to grab the under while the average joe have flooded the books with tickets on the over.

The public is currently beating the books in this series. If you take a closer look at the splits breakdown you can see where the public got their wins.

  • Game 1 Public Play: Heat - Heat Win
  • Game 2 Public Play: Celtics - Celtics Win
  • Game 3 Public Play: Celtics - Celtics Lose
