Bet $1,000 Risk Free on Packers/Chiefs at BetMGM
The Chiefs and Packers will headline the start of the final preseason week before the start of the season begins on September 8. We do not expect the Packers to use Aaron Rodgers a lot in the preseason finale, and Jordan Love has not played particularly well, so the quarterback options may be limited on Thursday night. Love will likely split time with Danny Etling as he has done in the first two preseason games.
Love is just a combined 25-of-48 with 289 passing yards and the same amount of touchdowns to interceptions, three. Etling has only thrown nine passes through two games and completed seven of them. He has accrued 123 yards coupled with one touchdown and no interceptions.
The Chiefs will also give way to the quarterbacks not named Patrick Mahomes to get a majority of the time. The time will be split between Chad Henne, Shane Buechele, and Dustin Crum. The Chiefs dropped the first game of the preseason after the Bears rallied down 14 to win by five.
Mahomes played well against the Bears, and we thought he might have played more than expected considering that was the first game of the year. He racked up 162 yards and threw for two touchdowns in the eventual loss. The Chiefs then bounced back with a 10-point win against the newly named Commanders.

BetMGM Sportsbook currently has the line for Thursday's matchup at -1.5 for the Packers with a price of -110 for either side. The spread for this game has been extremely sporadic, as it opened up at -1 for the Chiefs before being all the way up to -3 for the Packers. The spread has since come back down to the -1.5 at the time of this write up. The volatile movement could mean more to come before the kickoff.
The spread is not the only line that has seen a lot of movement in this matchup, as the total that was set to 39.5 has been long gone. The total now sits at 36 after nearly a four-point drop. Preseason is known for extreme swings in the line, which makes preseason betting somewhat unpredictable. For starters, we are unsure who will play and for how long.
Whether you want to bet on the total, side, first half, second half or live, BetMGM Sportsbook will have wagering options. Once the regular season gets underway, BetMGM Sportsbook will also have prop betting options.
Remember to utilize the VIBONUS bonus code at signup to redeem the $1,000 risk-free bet.
Until next time, enjoy the ride.
