There’s A Double Header Worth Of CFL Friday Night Action With A BetMGM Deal!
What’s Going On?
There are two CFL games Friday! Hamilton heads to Toronto earlier and this game is the last of the two. Normally, there are a couple of games on Saturday, but this is a Friday Night Football doubleheader and it’s perfect for your brand spanking new BetMGM account.
Use bonus code VIBONUS and, as long as you’re a US resident, you’re getting a Risk-FREE play of up to $1,000. Saskatchewan 5-5 (5-5 ATS) heads to BC as +155 underdogs. The Lions 8-1 (7-2 ATS) are favored by four and the total is 46 ½.
Why Should You Care?
Look around and watch all those “start your sportsbook account here and we’ll give you the world” ads disappearing. Sportsbooks can’t keep handing out free bets like they’re sitting on a stoop at Halloween giving out mini kit kat bars. You’ll be lucky if you can get $200 out of them. Then there’s BetMGM.
Open your account with the bonus code VIBONUS and then win that $1,000 BetMGM Risk-FREE play! Winning that grand sure beats getting $1,000 in free bets to have to start handicapping all over again. They do call it gambling for a reason and knowing BetMGM has your back in case you’re wrong, sure does minimize the pressure.
Does Saskatchewan Have A Chance Of Beating The Lions Straight Up In BC?
If you look at just the standings this point spread should be more than four points. Then you check out the injury report and that number makes more sense. Nathan Rourke, the Lions’ QB was leading the league in almost every stat that the guy behind center can lead the league in.
He was injured in last week’s game when these two met. Saskatchewan had a bye earlier in the month and that makes this the third time they’ll be playing BC in the last four games. That happens when it’s a nine-team league. They lost the first time by 15 and the second by 18 and those were both at home.
These Roughriders will need all the defence they can muster to bridge that two-touchdown gap from the previous contests. Their running game is solid but that’s not the case when they throw the ball and part of the reason why they’re only averaging 21 points a game. On defence, they do lead the league in sacks and interceptions but are still allowing almost 400 yards a game and 3 more points than they’re scoring.
Are The BC Lions As Good Of A Football Team As Their 8-1 Record?
Without Nathan Rourke, the BC Lions will turn to Michael O’Connor to handle the position. This team’s offence is leading the league in almost every stat. Can they still put up over 460 yards a game? The 100 they get on the ground shouldn’t be impacted and they have three receivers among the top nine in yardage. They are definitely big shoes to fill but even up north, it’s next man up.
The Lions are allowing just 20 points a game but in four of their last five, the opponent didn’t top 17. They lead the league in almost as many categories on this side of the ball as they do when it’s their possession. Other teams are rushing for just 75 yards a game and their 225 yards a game passing tops all nine teams. Winnipeg put up 43 on them in that sole loss but in the other four games at BC Place they gave up a total of 44.
This May Be The Perfect Spot To Use That BetMGM $1,000 Risk-FREE Bet!
Four of the Riders’ last five games have seen them score 24 or less. It’s always tough when a team loses an MVP candidate, especially when he’s the quarterback. Even with a backup, it’s hard to imagine the Lions scoring less than 28 points. Will they allow Saskatchewan to score more than that? Can the Roughriders score more than that? Use that BetMGM Risk-FREE play on the Lions and lay the points. They’re going to win this one handily for #12.
