Game time at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto for the series clincher is set for 7 p.m. (ET). TNT will carry the national broadcast. Caesars Sportsbook has opened the Maple Leafs as -125 home favorites with the total set at 6.5 goals.

Betting the game at Caesars comes with its perks in eligible states such as Arizona, New York and Tennessee. Betting the OVER on the total line has produced a highly profitable return through the first six games of this opening round matchup. The first game stayed UNDER with Toronto posting a 5-0 win at home as a -120 favorite. However, the next five tilts went OVER with at least seven goals scored in every game. The total closed at 6.5 goals for all contests.

Seven different players have scored at least two goals in this series for Tampa Bay. The total goals scored by the Lightning in six games adds up to 21. Right winger Nikita Kucherov leads the team in points with eight (2 goals, 6 assists). Left wingers’ Ondrej Palat and Ross Colton have each scored three goals apiece.

The hot hand for the Maple Leafs has been center Auston Matthews with four goals and four assists. Right winger Mitchell Marner (2 goals, 5 assists) and center William Nylander (3 goals, 4 assists) are next on the list in total points. Overall, Toronto has lit the lamp 23 times over the first six games.

This series has gone back and forth with the losing team avenging a loss with a victory in the next game. Toronto had a chance to win in six games but the Lightning prevailed in Thursday night’s 4-3 overtime thriller as -145 favorites at home. Bayden Point scored the game winner more than 18 minutes into the extra period.

Playing in the Eastern Conference’s Atlantic Division, these two teams are extremely familiar with one another. They split their four regular season meetings with the total going OVER in three of those four games. The Maple Leafs get the slight edge at home at 4-2 in the last six meetings in Toronto.
