Caesars Sportsbook Promo Code: Bama vs. Texas

Alabama. Big Al. Texas. Bevo. Mullets. Heisman hopefuls. College Gameday. Saturday morning will not be short off fanfare and story lines, and due to this could be the biggest game of the day. Arguably the implications of this game could mean more to Texas for the big picture of 2022.

Alabama will always be in the conversation at the end of the year, in large part due to the SEC Conference. Texas has a lot to prove. They made big noise since the end of last year with the transfer of Ewers and the signing of the (at the time) top prospect in the class of 2023, Arch Manning.

Before delving deeper into this game, we want to remind everyone about the welcome promotion that Caesars Sportsbook is providing for all new customers. The first step in redeeming this promotion is to sign up using the bonus code VIMAXSPORTFULL. Caesars is offering $1,250 on them for your first wager along with 1,000 Caesars Tier Credits and 1,000 Caesars Rewards Points.

College football fans are inundated with Texas is back almost on a yearly basis, but 2022 may provide good reason to believe that to be true this time around. Quinn Ewers went Southlake Carol, just two hours north of Austin up Interstate-35.

He finished high school early and hit the Ohio State campus a semester early. After a year and understanding that breaking into the Ohio State depth chart may not be an imminent possibility, Quinn Ewers transferred back home.

'Quinn Ewers, has a lot to prove, (clap, clap, clap, clap), Deep in the heart of Texas!'

If you know the tune, you get it.

Alabama on the other hand is on a redemption tour and started the 2022 season with a shutout win over Utah State. Alabama scored 55 points behind Bryce Young and his five touchdowns on just 195 yards. Alabama lost just twice last season including the 33-18 College Football Championship loss to rival Georgia.

Texas comes into this game off a home win against Louisiana Monroe by a score of 52-10. Longshot Heisman hopeful Ewers had 225 yards, two touchdowns and one interception and was aided by fellow Heisman hopeful Bijon Robinson who had 71 rushing yards on just 10 carries.

Alabama is a perennial College Football Playoff contender and Texas is just trying to get into their first playoff bracket. If Texas is back, starting off with a win against the number one ranked team in the country may cause a few heads to turn and take notice. The line opened at -18 for Alabama on Sunday when they were first released, and within twenty minutes it swelled to -20. We figured it would get to -21 before being bet back down by the sharps, but that has not happened quite yet.

Caesars Sportsbook has the Alabama Crimson Tide still laying a hefty -20 on the road against the unranked Texas Longhorns. DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium is sold out and some ticket prices have reached five digits. Both the Crimson Tide and Longhorns are -110 on the spread.

A $100 wager on either side would net a return of $90.91. The Crimson Tide are worth a look after winning four straight covers against non-conference opponents. We would not recommend counting out the Longhorns either, who have not played a game this big or important since the 2010 BCS National Championship. Remember Colt McCoy? Bet on Alabama vs Texas!

The total is set to 64.5 at the Caesars Sportsbook. This line has already been driven up three full points since the opening, but we don’t anticipate much more movement in the coming days. Both the over and under are also listed at -110.

Remember to head on over to the Caesars Sportsbook and take advantage of their welcome offer. All new players get $1,250 on Caesars, 1,000 Caesars Tier Credits and 1,000 Caesars Reward Points. To redeem the promotion, use the VIMAXSPORTFULL code at sign up.

Hook ‘em? Roll Tide? Either way, we should be treated to one hell of a matchup to kick off the full slate of games on Saturday.

Until next time, enjoy the ride.
