The young season in the English Premier League continues at St. James Park. Manchester City will play Newcastle on Saturday morning in their third game this season. Manchester City has won two straight English Premier League titles and has started with two straight wins against Bournemouth and West Ham United. So far this season Manchester City has not allowed a goal and has outscored their opponents six goals to nil

Newcastle has also not tasted defeat yet. They won their first game by a score of 2-0 against Nottingham Forest and then traveled to Brighton and Hove for a scoreless draw. Newcastle finished in 11th place last season and Eddie Howe is hoping to improve this season. Newcastle did get a lot better last season after Eddie Howe took over in November. While they are 1-0-1 on the season compared to Manchester City sitting at 2-0, the Magpies have yet to concede a goal as well.

FanDuel Sportsbook is offering a ‘No Sweat’ first bet when you sign up. There is no code needed to redeem the promotion. While Newcastle will look to continue the good start, they may be shorthanded again as they will be without the services of Jonjo Shelvey. Matt Targett, Ryan Fraser and Emil Krafth are also questionable, but will be reviewed prior to the game. Manchester City has a different problem than Newcastle. Phil Foden, Jack Grealish, Riyad Mahrez and Bernardo Silva are all capable of being able to flank stirker Erling Braut Haaland. Pep Guardiola can go in any direction and see who is the best fit, and with this season so young we fully expect to see a few names in the top getting chances.

The home side is listed at +600 on the money line while the Manchester City Citizens are listed at -240. If you are confident on Newcastle, a $100 wager would net a $600 profit. The third betting option on FanDuel Sportsbook is to bet on the draw which is listed at +390. Slight value could be seen because Newcastle has already been able to draw this season.

FanDuel Sportsbook also has the total listed at 2.5 with the over juiced at -160. The four combined games played by these two sides has only seen one game go over the 2.5-mark one time, and that was the 4-0 win by Manchester against Bournemouth. The under is coming in at +130. FanDuel offers the traditional wager like sides, total, first half, second half, and live betting. FanDuel also offers an array of betting options, and even some exotic props that you could wager on for your first ‘No Sweat’ bet. Some of those include:

  • Both teams to score- Yes -138, No +108
  • Newcastle to win or draw +185
  • Erling Haaland to score in 90 minutes and Man City to win the match +100
  • Phil Foden ay time goal scorer +210
  • Newcastle to score the last goal +220

All first players get their first bet ‘No Sweat’ up to $1,000. No code needed to redeem the promotion, just sign up.

Until next time, enjoy the ride.
