FanDuel Bonus Code: Dallas Cowboys Vs. New York Giants
As much as we hate to admit this, the Cowboys are still America's team. They are the most hated, most talked about, most loved, most controversial, have the best fans, and own the most annoying fans, all dependent on who you ask. Dallas continues to remain relevant, because love them or hate, people still talk about them. Picture this, a franchise has not won anything in 27 years, but they still have equal cheers, boos, and unprecedented media coverage that every other team could only hope for. Jerry Jones does not care what anybody thinks bout the Cowboys, just as long as people think about them.
The Cowboys and Giants meet for on primetime for one of their two annual meetings, and as per usual this game has already attracted a ton of interests. The Cowboys opened up with a lackluster performance by Dak Prescott and the inefficient offense, which would ultimately lead to a 19-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Cowboys night got “worse” when Dak Prescott went down with a significant injury to his throwing hand.
The next game was started by Cooper Rush. We do not want to get ahead of ourselves, but he is 2-0 as a starter with two game-winning drives. The future? The Cowboys did face the Bengals at home, a team that may be suffering from a Super Bowl defeat hangover. This makes the Cowboys an especially tough read in the early going.
Cooper Rush played well enough on Sunday. He threw for 299 yards on 26-44 passing and had one touchdown with no turnovers. We do recognize the one constant for Dallas, Micah Parsons and their defense.
The Giants will play hosts at MetLife stadium, and they may be the worst 2-0 team in NFL history. The Titans and Panthers are not quite the resume builders needed for the New York Giants to count 2-0 as successful. Saquon Barkley has 236 yards on just 39 rushing attempts this season, good for an average of six yards per carry. The Giant’s defense has played really well to open the season, but against poor opponents they also become a tough read.
The FanDuel Sportsbook is offering all new players with a special offer, Bet $1, Get $100 on this game. There is no code needed to redeem the promotion, it is available to all new customers when they sign up.
FanDuel has followed much of the market and listed the Cowboys as slight underdogs of just one point. The Giants opened as favorites of a field goal, but the line was immediately bet down after a ton of money came pouring in on the Cowboys. The Giants have covered both of their games to open the season and the Cowboys are 1-1 this season against the spread.
Dating back the couple of seasons, the Cowboys have been one of the best cover teams in the NFL. They come into this matchup on a 17-7 ATS run in their last 24 games. They will also become of the last teams to make a start on the road in 2022, and they have covered four straight games in such situations. The Giants have trended in the opposite way ATS, and even with two straight covers, the Giants are just 2-6 ATS in their last eight games.
The New York Football Giants are also just 10-22-1 in their last 33 home games towards covering the spread. These two franchises meet twice a year, and for the last five years the Cowboys have dominated the Giants when it comes to the spread. The Cowboys are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 meetings against the Giants, and 4-1 ATS in the last on the road. The favorite, such as the Giants on Monday night, have covered seven of the last 10 meetings.
The FanDuel Sportsbook has the total listed at 39.5, which may seem a little low, but how can we trust these offenses? Daniel Jones has just 364 yards through the air after two games, and an over-aggressive Dallas secondary could also prove troublesome to find success for Jones. The Cowboys have seen the total go under in four of their last five games, but the Giants have had an even more impressive under trend. They are seeing the total go under at a 21-5-1 clip in their last 27 games. While teams have trended the under, the total has gone over in five of the last seven meeting between these division rivals.
These two teams hate each other, which makes this game watchable. The FanDuel Sportsbook is a great place to grab a little skin in the game. Whether you are a hater or a fan of the Cowboys, the FanDuel Sportsbook will have plenty available. FanDuel has spreads, totals, first halves, second halves, props and live betting available.
Remember that all new players who sign up at FanDuel will get a Bet $1, Get $100 offer on this game! That's a great way to add some extra value to your new FanDuel account.
Until next time, enjoy the ride.
