FanDuel Promo Code: Bet $5, Get $150 on Bucs/Cowboys
The Cowboys have not won a championship since 1995, but that has not stopped the ‘We dem boys” chants shouted yearly by their fans. They will now open the 2022 season against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who just enjoyed hoisting a Lombardi Trophy in the not-too-distant past. While the Bucs seem to be in a better position overall, their offseason has not been without some drama. Tom Brady took an 11-day absence in the middle of training camp, but he is afforded some leniency after his lengthy career.
Some things never change, and in football Brady reaching the postseason or Super Bowl is one of those things. The aspirations are lofty for both franchises this season, and this could be a foreshadowing of what is to come in the NFC Playoffs. The Cowboys just signed Amari Cooper to a contract worth over $100 million spanning five years. That was in 2020. Now they decided to trade him away for a late round draft pick.
The Cowboys enter this matchup hurting a bit at the wide receiver position with the absence of Michael Gallup, who is still recovering from the ACL injury sustained late last season. CeeDee Lamb will anchor the wide receivers alongside Jalen Tolbert, Simi Fehoko, Noah Brown and Dennis Houston. Dak Prescott will have his work cut out for him in the Dallas passing game.
Dallas will have two running backs to lean on with Ezekiel Elliot and Tony Pollard. The Cowboys will be missing a piece on their offensive line but were able to bring in the future HOFer Jason Peters to fill a void. A great place to wager on this game is FanDuel Sportsbook. They are offering all new players a chance to earn up to $150 in free bets after an initial minimum $5 bet.
After the initial qualifying wager is placed, FanDuel Sportsbook will deposit $150 of free bets into your account within 72 hours. Free bet stakes are not included in your winnings. The welcome offer is provided to all new customers when they signup. No bonus code is needed.
While the Cowboys have some holes on their roster, the Buccaneers will ask a lot of their front five after center Ryan Jensen suffered a knee injury. To further complicate matters, Tampa had already lost guard Ali Marpet to retirement and Alex Cappa to free agency. The Bengals found a nice piece with Cappa to protect their Burrow investment.
The spread opened with Tampa Bay as slight favorites of two. The line dipped to -1 but has fluctuated up and down between -1 and -2.5. FanDuel Sportsbook currently has the Dallas Cowboys catching 2.5 at home on Sunday Night Football. Home underdogs are always worth a look, and this instance is no different. A $100 wager on both the Buccaneers and Cowboys would net a profit of $90.91.
The total is set to 50.5. With the state of the Tampa offensive line, the Cowboys defense, the lack of receiving options in Dallas, this total could go either way. Dating back a couple seasons, the Cowboys have seen the total go over at a 13-6 clip in the last 19 games played at AT&T Stadium. The Buccaneers have gone 7-1 to the over in the last two seasons in September. Both the over and the under are priced at -110.
Sunday Night Football in Jerry’s World. What an exciting time. Remember to sign up at FanDuel Sportsbook and earn up to $150 in free bets. Just place a qualifying wager valued at a minimum of $5 to redeem.
Until next time, enjoy the ride.
