As a rookie, the 6-foot-11 Bassey played in 17 games for the 76ers’ G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats. He averaged 18.9 points and 10.2 rebounds along with a league-best 3.4 blocks, as he guided Delaware to a spot in the G League Finals. Bassey was selected to the All-League, All-Defensive and All-Rookie teams in the G League.
Butler made 42 appearances with one start for the Jazz last season. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound guard averaged 3.8 points and 1.5 assists. As a member of Baylor’s 2021 national title team, Butler captured the NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player award.
Springer played in two games for the 76ers and 19 contests for the Blue Coats last season. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard averaged 14.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in his G League games. Springer was selected with the 28th pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.
The 6-foot-5, 215-pound Sneed arrived with the Jazz on a two-way deal in February. Sneed played in seven games for the Jazz last season and two prior contests with the Memphis Grizzlies. Sneed played collegiately at Kansas State, where he averaged 10.7 points and 4.5 rebounds across four seasons.
Queen is the reigning G League MVP. Queen was fifth in the G League in points per game (25.3), while also being tops in steals per game (3.2). During his 19 games with the Vipers, Queen also totaled 6.7 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game as they captured the 2022 G League title.
The 7-foot-6, 250-pound Fall arrives out of UCF via Dakatar, Senegal. Fall has played in 37 games overall in the NBA, most recently 11 games and a start with the Cleveland Cavaliers last season. Fall led the G League in blocks and has been selected twice to the G League All-Defensive Team (2020, 2022).
The 6-foot-5 Joe went 49th in the 2020 NBA Draft by the 76ers. Joe played two seasons at Arkansas. He tied an SEC freshman record with 113 3-pointers. As a sophomore, he tallied 16.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.4 steals per game.
The 6-foot-9, 218-pound Caboclo is from Brazil. Caboclo has the most experience on the Jazz summer league team with 105 appearances and 20 starts with the Toronto Raptors, Sacramento Kings, Memphis Grizzlies, and Houston Rockets. The center/power forward has averages in the NBA of 4.2 points and 2.6 rebounds.
After this game, the 76ers and Jazz will conclude the Salt Lake City Summer League with games on July 7 vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder and Memphis Grizzlies respectively.
