The Dirtiest Las Vegas Hotels

With delicious food, lively nightlife, iconic residencies and world-famous casinos, it’s no surprise that Las Vegas manages to attract millions of visitors each year.

Luckily for these visitors, Vegas is also home to some of the most beautiful resorts and hotels in America.

However, the team here at VegasInsider wanted to identify which of these hotels have been committing the most sins when it came to their cleanliness.

Using Tripadvisor reviews for 30 of the most famous hotels on the iconic strip, we ranked each hotel on the percentage of terrible-average (1 to 3 star) reviews which included words associated with uncleanliness.

Our Methodology

We gathered 30 of the most well-known Las Vegas hotels to operate in and around the Las Vegas Strip.

Using Tripadvisor, we then looked at how many terrible-average (1 to 3 star) reviews for each of these hotels mentioned terms associated with uncleanliness or bad hygiene.

Each hotel’s terrible-average reviews mentioning the negative terms were then divided by the hotel’s total reviews and multiplied by 100 to give a percentage.

This percentage was used to rank the hotels from dirtiest to cleanest based on the frequency of cleanliness complaints.

All data correct as of February 2025.
