Mark Madsen confirmed to face Drakkar Klose in October
October 29, 2022. Mark “The Olympian” Madsen makes his return to the UFC octagon.The undefeated lightweight fighter is scheduled to face Drakkar Klose at UFC Fight Night.
Madsen announced this fight in an exclusive interview with VegasInsider.
Madsen has a 12-0 MMA record and a 4-0 record in the UFC. His last outing in the octagon was a unanimous decision win over Vinc Pichel at UFC 273.
Klose last featured in a UFC fight on July 30, beating Rafa Garcia by decision. Klose’s MMA record is 13-2 and both of those losses have come in the UFC.
Madsen and Klose have a bit of history with the latter tweeting directly to Mark, calling him out for a fight.
And now that the fight is official, Madsen is looking forward to showing Klose what he’s got.
“I finally get to fight this jabroni, Drakkar Klose, who’s been calling me out incessantly. Well, Drakkar, now’s the time to walk the talk.”

Madsen goes on to add that he’ll outclass Klose when they meet in the octagon.
“I guarantee that I’ll outwrestle, outbox and dominate this guy. He doesn’t stand a chance! Make this another one in the win column!”
