UFC 303 Betting Results
Even though the UFC 303 had multiple cancellations on its card, including the return of Conor McGregor, the promotion created a highly-anticipated main event on June 29, 2024 and it delivered.
Once again, UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Alex Pereira stepped up on short notice and squared off against former champion Jiri Prochazka.
Pereira defeated Prochazka just 13 seconds into the second round with a perfectly timed head kick that sent his opponent to the mat. Pereira closed as a short favorite (-150) and it’s doubtful will see the Brazilian at such a short price ever again.
In the co-main event, Brian Ortega withdrew from the bout four hours prior to the fight and fortunately Dan Ige stepped up to face Diego Lopes at a catchweight bout. Lopes controlled the first 10 minutes of the fight and withstood a late charge from Ige to earn a unanimous decision victory as a healthy favorite (-280).
Bettors playing favorites fared well with the ‘chalk’ producing an 11-2 mark on the 13-fight card from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Eight of the 13 fights went to the cards and the five fights that finished inside distance were all results of TKO or KO.
