College World Series odds continue to emerge as a popular market in American sports betting. The 2025 college baseball season is into the NCAA Tournament, with regionals running May 30-June 2.

The SEC dominated 2025 CWS odds pre-NCAA Tournament. LSU led the way, followed by Arkansas. Now, the Razorbacks are the favorite. However, No. 1 overall seed Vanderbilt already bit the dust, as did several more SEC squads.

2025 College Baseball World Series Futures Odds

SEC Statement

UPDATE 11 A.M. ET TUESDAY, JUNE 3: In January, when Caesars Sports first posted 2025 College World Series odds, Tennessee was the +900 first choice. Following at +1000 were SEC brethren LSU and Texas A&M, then Arkansas at +1300.

Prior to NCAA Tournament regionals, LSU (46-15) was the +400 favorite in CWS futures odds. Now, the Tigers are the +400 second choice, behind +300 favorite Arkansas.

But bettors have been on LSU from the outset.

"The team that bettors are turning to the most is LSU. It's been that way most of the season," Caesars college baseball trader Brandon DeRosier said.

Added Caesars head of baseball trading Eric Biggio: "We've got a pretty big base of support in Louisiana. They back LSU like a pro team."

LSU won its regional, going 3-1 while winning the final 10-6 over Arkansas-Little Rock.

Arkansas (46-13) rolled through its regional, winning three straight games while taking over the favorite's mantle.

"Arkansas action has picked up lately, as they've continued to win," DeRosier said.

Vanderbilt was the pre-tourney +700 third choice in CWS odds, but got eliminated three games into the regionals. The Commodores lost to Louisville 3-2, then 5-4 to Wright State. It's the first time the tourney's No. 1 seed hasn't reached at least the regional final.

The SEC put 13 teams in the NCAA field, and eight of the 16 regionals were hosted by SEC teams. However, only four of those 13 teams remain.

What To Watch For

UPDATE 11 A.M. ET TUESDAY, JUNE 3: Much like college basketball, quality wins are key over a long college baseball season. DeRosier said that statistic often points to who goes the deepest in the College World Series.

"A lot of the champions and runners-up have led the nation in Quad 1 wins. The top three this season are Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and Texas," he said.

No surprise, all three teams are from the SEC. What is a surprise, though: All three teams bowed out in the regional round.

Ole Miss led the nation in the regular season with 19 Quad 1 wins, Vandy had 18 and Texas 17. As noted above, things didn't work out for Vanderbilt. Ditto for Texas, which lost to UTSA in a regional final.

Ole Miss reached its regional final today, but lost a shootout vs. Murray State 12-11.

So what's Caesars' risk room hoping for? DeRosier said Vanderbilt would've been a good result to win the title, but that prospect is gone. Perhaps surprisingly, Biggio wants to see the favorite and most popular team stick around as long as possible.

"LSU is not the best result. We might lose a little bit if they win it all. But the handle on a game-by-game basis would be phenomenal," Biggio said. "Something like LSU-Tennessee would be really strong in the final, like Sunday Night Baseball type of handle."
