Luis Garcia (WAS) Over 0.5 Hits / Jose Iglesias (COL) 0.5 Hits (-109)

Luis Garcia has really flown under Gambling Twitter's radar, despite a very impressive season from the 22 year old short-stop. He’s batting .293 on the season, .322 vs right handed pitching, and .382 vs the Phillies this season. Garcia struggles with the things lots of young players do, left handed pitching and heavy offspeed usage. Luckily for Garcia, Gibson is a right handed pitcher who’s top 4 pitches vs LHB include Cutter, 4SFB, Sinker and a changeup. On the season Garcia is hitting .429/.467/.269/.256 against those pitches, while a strong cutter is normally an advantage against lefties, Garcia’s incredibly quick hands making pitching inside to him very hard. Garcia is coming in with 1+ hit in 8 of his last 9 games and has been playing very well since the ASB, I expect him to keep it up in a great matchup today.

For the first time all season, I’m betting two separate Rockies to get hits, and we aren't even at Coors Field! The veteran short-stop is quietly 5th in the MLB in batting average, currently sitting at .313, he also happens to be one of the only Rockies that actually hits better on the road, boasting an incredible .363 road BA this season. He’s batting .377 post-ASB and is coming into this game with good recent form (2+ Hits in 5/L8 games). While he doesnt have much experience against Bumgarner (1-3) he’s batting .450/.296/.323/.414 against his top 4 pitches. Jose has a hit in every game vs the D-Backs this season (.345 BA over 29 PA's), I think he keeps that streak going today in a great spot.
