Week 15 of the NFL season continues with a surprisingly meaningful NFC showdown between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Green Bay Packers. The betting odds see Green Bay as a 3.5-point favorite despite posting a frustrating loss to the Giants last week. Coverage begins from Lambeau Field on Sunday, December 17 at 1:00 p.m. ET on FOX.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Green Bay Packers Odds

• Opening point spread: Packers -3.5
• Opening moneyline: Packers -180/Buccaneers +150
• Opening total: Over/Under 42.5 points scored
• Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

UPDATE 11 A.M. ET SUNDAY: Two hours pre-kick, the Packers are -3.5 (-105) at BetMGM, where they've been since Tuesday (see below). Green Bay is getting 61% of spread tickets/67% of spread money.

The total is down a point since Friday, to 41.5. Ticket count is almost even and 58% of money is on the Under.

UPDATE 1:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Green Bay is nailed to -3.5 in BetMGM's NFL odds Week 15 market. So far, there's just been a modest Tuesday adjustment from -3.5 flat to -3.5 (-105), where the line remains today.

Spread tickets are running dead even, while 62% of spread cash is on the road underdog.

The total spent the week mostly toggling between 42.5 and 42, with a short trip to 43 on Monday. It's now at 42.5, with 62% of tickets/61% of money on the Over.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET TUESDAY: Like Miami, though not in as shocking fashion, Green Bay was dealt a Monday night upset. The Packers (6-7 SU/7-6 ATS) fell to the New York Giants 24-22 as 5.5-point road favorites, losing on a final-seconds field goal.

That ended Green Bay's 3-0 SU and ATS upswing that included upsets of Detroit and Kansas City.

There wasn't much of an adjustment in the wake of Green Bay's loss. The SuperBook opened Bucs-Packers at Packers -3.5 and went to -3 (-120) before Green Bay tumbled Monday night. When Bucs-Packers reopened Tuesday morning, Green Bay was at -3.5 (even) and within a few minutes dipped to -3 (-120).

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: With a mere two SU wins in a row, Tampa Bay (6-7 SU/7-6 ATS) is in a three-way tie atop the miserable NFC South. In Week 14, the Bucs got a final-minute TD to beat Atlanta 29-25 as 1.5-point road 'dogs.

Green Bay (6-6 SU/7-5 ATS) still has its Week 14 matchup in front of it. The Packers visit the New York Giants on Monday night.

Buccaneers vs Packers Pick, Prediction

Action Network NFL betting expert Brandon Anderson offers this prediction:

These teams are relatively even in recent metrics and both tend to play slower, especially Green Bay. The Bucs defense has been above average of late, and that should help Tampa Bay hold its own against an improving but inconsistent Packers offense.

Todd Bowles road unders have been playable historically at 30-18 (63%), the second-most profitable coach in our Action Labs system. Ditto for Baker Mayfield unders in games with a total under 44, the second-most profitable QB in such games at 20-10 to the under (67%).

Both offenses tend to start very slowly in the first half, and Packers first half unders are 9-3-1. A slow start and a high-stakes game plus some late windy conditions should keep this under.
