New Orleans Saints vs. Green Bay Packers Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Packers -13.5
  • Opening moneyline: Packers -900/Saints +600
  • Opening total: Over/Under 43 points scored
  • Time: 8:15 p.m. ET Monday (ESPN)

UPDATE 7:15 P.M. ET MONDAY: An hour before kickoff, the Packers are 14-point favorites in Week 16 NFL odds at BetMGM. On Dec. 8, Green Bay opened -13.5, and the line went to -14.5 Wednesday. The Pack has been at -14 since late Thursday night.

"We're not taking any Saints money. We will for sure need the Saints tonight. A cover would be good, an outright win would be even better," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said.

The total opened at 42.5, bottomed out at 41.5 Wednesday and is now out to its peak of 43.5. BetMGM senior trader Tristan Davis said the Under will be the need, per usual.

UPDATE 12:30 P.M. ET MONDAY: Eight days ago, DraftKings Sportsbook opened the Pack -12.5 in NFL Week 16 odds. Green Bay went to -13 within a few hours, then spent the early part of last week toggling between -13.5/-14.

Since Tuesday, the line has bounced between Packers -14/-14.5 multiple times, and it's now -14 (-115). Spread ticket count is 2/1 and spread money 3/1 on Green Bay.

The total opened at 41.5 and is now at its high point of 43. Ticket count is 2/1 and money 5/1-plus on the Over. That's despite an expected kickoff temperature of 31 degrees, with a real feel of 25.

UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: The Packers join the Bills as the biggest favorite in the NFL odds Week 16 market. ESPNBET opened Green Bay -14, and it's now -14 (-115). The Packers are drawing 68% of early spread bets/60% of early spread money.

The total opened and is currently 42.5, with tickets and money in the 3/1 range on the Over.

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Green Bay (10-4 SU/8-6 ATS) rebounded nicely from its Week 14 loss at Detroit. The Packers dispatched Seattle 30-13 giving 3 points on the road. Jordan Love & Co. are 8-2 SU in their last 10 games, covering in the last four.

New Orleans (5-9 SU and ATS) had its modest 3-1 SU upswing end in Week 15, but just barely. The Saints scored a TD on the final play of the game vs. Washington. But New Orleans failed on the 2-point conversion and lost 20-19 catching 7.5 points at home.

Saints-Packers opened at Green Bay -13.5 in The SuperBook's Week 16 NFL odds. The game came off the board once Packers-Seahawks kickoed off. Saints-Packers will go back up Monday morning.

"They don’t do flex games for Monday Night Football any more? This is a ridiculous game to have in prime time," SuperBook vice president John Murray said.

In-Progress Games for NFL Week 16

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Dallas Cowboys Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Buccaneers -4
  • Opening moneyline: Buccaneers -210/Cowboys +180
  • Opening total: Over/Under 47.5 points scored
  • Time: 8:20 p.m. ET Sunday (NBC)

UPDATE 6:45 P.M. ET SUNDAY: As kickoff nears, the Bucs are laying 4 points in BetMGM's Week 16 NFL odds. Tampa Bay opened -4.5 last Sunday night and has been painted to -4 since Monday.

That said, there's no shortage of Tampa support tonight.

"It's all Tampa and the Over, every which way," BetMGM senior trader Tristan Davis said.

The total opened at 47.5, peaked at 49 Monday and made its way back to 47.5 by this morning.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Tampa opened -4.5 in Borgata Sports' NFL odds Week 16 market, and the line is now -4.

"Not a lot of advanced money on the side in this one yet," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "My assumption is that we are going to need Dallas in this one for the second week in a row. The Cowboys came through for us last week against Carolina."

The total opened at 47.5, stretched to 49 and is now 47.5.

Try our bet365 bonus code to bet on the Bucs vs. Cowboys!

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Tampa Bay (8-6 SU/9-5 ATS) trailed the L.A. Chargers 17-13 at halftime. But the Bucs pitched a 27-0 shutout in the second half, rolling to a 40-17 victory as 3-point road underdogs.

Dallas (6-8 SU and ATS) has won and cashed in three of its last four outings. In Week 15, the Cowboys were 2.5-point pups at Carolina and won 30-14.

The SuperBook toggled between Bucs -4/-3.5 a couple times tonight before settling at -4. The total climbed from 47.5 to 48/48.5.

"Great win for the Bucs and Baker Mayfield today in L.A.," SuperBook vice president John Murray said. "I think this will be a game that the weekend action piles into for the books.

"You’ve got a big favorite Friday night in the College Football Playoff, three more [playoff games] Saturday, and a full slate of NFL games."

To Murray's point: Notre Dame (-7.5) opens the CFP vs. Indiana, followed on Saturday by SMU vs. Penn State (-9); Clemson vs. Texas (-11.5); and Tennessee vs. Ohio State (-7.5).

"A lot of public parlays will be closing with the Bays: Tampa and Green. I don’t see how the Saints can win at Lambeau, so go Cowboys."

Completed Games for NFL Week 16

Minnesota Vikings vs. Seattle Seahawks Odds

Justin Jefferson, Sam Darnold and the Vikings aim to keep rolling at Seattle. (Getty)
Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Vikings -1.5
  • Opening moneyline: Vikings -200/Seahawks +175
  • Opening total: Over/Under 45.5 points scored
  • Time: 4:05 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

UPDATE 2 P.M. ET SUNDAY: With two hours until kickoff, the Vikes are -3 (-105) in BetMGM's NFL Week 16 odds. Minnesota opened -2.5 and got as high as -4.5 early in the week, when it was thought that Seattle QB Geno Smith (knee) would miss the game.

But Smith is in, leading to that line coming back toward the Seahawks.

"It's a closer line in this game, so action is a bit more split," BetMGM senior trader Tristan Davis said, while noting the Seahawks are still the need.

The total opened at 45, dropped to 42.5 by Monday and spent the rest of the week toggling between 42.5/43. It's now 43, and Davis said as always, the Under is the need.

UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Minnesota hit ESPNBET's NFL odds Week 16 market at -4.5 and is now down to -3. Still, it's all Vikings on the spread so far, at 83% of tickets/85% of money.

The total opened at 42.5 and is now 42.5 (Over -115), with 74% of bets/57% of dollars on the Over.

UPDATE 11:15 P.M. ET MONDAY: Minnesota (12-2 SU/9-4-1 ATS) had little trouble with Chicago in a Week 15 Monday night game. The Vikings rolled to a 30-12 victory as 7-point home favorites. Sam Darnold & Co. are on a seven-game win streak (4-2-1 ATS).

DraftKings Sportsbook opened the Vikes -2.5, but that was before Sunday night's Packers-Seahawks game, in which Seattle QB Geno Smith suffered a right knee injury.

That led DK to move Minnesota out to -4.5 late Sunday night in Week 16 NFL odds. However, news on Smith earlier this evening was at least semi-positive, and the line shortened to Vikings -2.5 (-115).

It's now Minnesota -3, with 78% of early spread bets on the Vikes and early spread money running almost dead even.

The total opened at 45, tumbled to 41.5 after the Smith injury, and it's now at 42. The Over is seeing 64% of bets, while 73% of money is on the Under.

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Seattle (8-6 SU/6-7-1 ATS) got rolled by Green Bay 30-13 catching 3 points in the Week 15 Sunday nighter. Making matters worse, quarterback Geno Smith left with a knee injury in the third quarter.

Minnesota (11-2 SU/8-4-1 ATS) has work to finish in Week 15. The Vikings host Chicago on Monday night.

Here's our DraftKings promo code for the Vikings vs Seahawks!

Minnesota opened -1.5 tonight at The SuperBook. But Vikings-Seahawks was taken off the board once Packers-Seahawks kicked off. Vikes-Seahawks will go back up Monday morning.

"Seattle got beat and has a QB injury to deal with. Talk about a game with a lot of unknowns," SuperBook vice president John Murray said.

New England Patriots vs. Buffalo Bills Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Bills -13.5
  • Opening moneyline: Bills -1200/Patriots +750
  • Opening total: Over/Under 46.5 points scored
  • Time: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

UPDATE 2 P.M. ET SUNDAY: BetMGM has been pretty much painted to Buffalo -14 since opening last Sunday. And the public can't get enough of the Bills, who are 8-1 SU/7-2 ATS in their last nine games.

"There are cobwebs starting to accumulate on the Patriots' side of our book. No one wants to bet on them," BetMGM senior trader Tristan Davis said. "It's pretty simple science from now until the end of the season: We just don't want any more favorites."

The total is at 46.5, up from a 44.5 opener and down a notch from Monday's 47 high point. Davis said the Under is the need, per usual.

UPDATE 4:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: On Sunday, the Bills opened -13 in DraftKings Sportsbook's NFL odds Week 16 market. Buffalo quickly advanced to -13.5/-14, and the Bills have been pinned to -14 all week.

Buffalo is nabbing 86% of early spread bets/84% of early spread money.

The total opened at 47, bottomed out at 45.5 Sunday night, then spent much of the past few days toggling between 46/46.5. It's now 46.5, with tickets and money in the 2/1 range on the Over.

Use our best NFL betting sites to bet on the Bills game!

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Buffalo (11-3 SU/9-5 ATS) put up a mountain of points to knock off Detroit 48-42, ending the Lions' SU win streak at 11. The Bills cashed as 2.5-point road 'dogs and are now 8-1 SU/7-2 ATS in their last nine games.

New England (3-11 SU/5-8-1 ATS) brings a four-game losing streak into Week 16. The Patriots lost to Arizona 30-17 as 6-point road pups in Week 15.

Buffalo hit The SuperBook's NFL Week 16 odds at -13.5 and is already -14. The total was a bit volatile early, dropping from 46.5 to 46/45/44.5, then rebounding to 45/46.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Miami Dolphins Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Dolphins -2.5
  • Opening moneyline: Dolphins -135/49ers +115
  • Opening total: Over/Under 48 points scored
  • Time: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

UPDATE 2:45 P.M. ET SUNDAY: San Francisco is out to -1.5 (-115) in DraftKings Sportsbook's NFL odds Week 16 market. A week ago, Miami opened -1, and the Dolphins peaked at -2.5 Monday.

But the Dolphins are banged up at receiver, with Jaylen Waddle doubtful and Tyreek Hill questionable. That led to the line jumping the fence Thursday to Niners -1, and the San Fran touched -2 a few times since then.

The 49ers are netting 56% of spread bets/65% of spread money.

DraftKings' total is at its low point of 44, from a 47.5 opener. Still, the Over is seeing 70% of bets/61% of cash.

UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: The Dolphins are -1 (-105) at ESPNBET, down a notch from the -1.5 opener. Spread tickets are almost even, with a slight lean toward the Niners, while a hefty 87% of spread money is on San Francisco.

ESPNBET's total is down to 44.5 from a 46.5 opener. However, the Over is taking 68% of tickets/71% of money.

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Miami (6-8 SU and ATS) is in a three-game ATS rut entering Week 16. The Dolphins couldn't muster a TD in Week 16 until just 4:30 remained, losing at Houston 20-12 as 2.5-point pups.

San Francisco (6-8 SU/5-9 ATS) had a miserable Thursday night experience in Week 15. The Niners managed just two field goals the entire game and lost 12-6 as 3-point home favorites vs. the L.A. Rams. In fact, all 18 points came from kickers, as the Rams booted four field goals.

49ers-Dolphins opened Miami -2.5 in The SuperBook's NFL Week 16 odds, with no movement so far. However, the total dipping 2 points in the first 30 minutes, from 48 to 47.5/47/46.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Las Vegas Raiders Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Raiders -1
  • Opening moneyline: Raiders -115/Jaguars -105
  • Opening total: Over/Under 39.5 points scored
  • Time: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

UPDATE 2:45 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Las Vegas opened -1, and the line jumped the fence to Jacksonville -1/-1.5/-2 Tuesday. By Friday, it got back to Raiders -2.5, and that's where it sits now.

The Jaguars are seeing 54% of spread tickets, while 62% of spread dollars are on the Raiders.

DK opened the total at 39.5 and is now at its high of 41.5. The Under is taking 55% of tickets, while 60% of cash is on the Over.

UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: As bad as the Raiders are, they've still managed to advance from -1 to -2 at ESPNBET. But point-spread splits are quite divergent, with 72% of bets on Jacksonville and 74% of money on Las Vegas.

The total opened at 39.5 and is now 40.5 (Under -115). That said, the Under is netting 65% of bets and a hefty 95% of dollars.

UPDATE 11:30 P.M. ET MONDAY: Las Vegas (2-12 SU/5-9 ATS) continues to struggle, taking an 0-10 SU nosedive into Week 16. In a Week 15 Monday night game, the Raiders lost to Atlanta 15-9, but covered as 6.5-point home 'dogs.

Las Vegas opened and remains -1 vs. Jacksonville in DraftKings' NFL odds Week 16 market. The Raiders are getting 53% of early spread bets, while 60% of early spread money is on the Jaguars.

The total opened at 39.5 and is now 40, with the Over netting 58% of bets/57% of money.

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Jacksonville (3-11 SU/8-6 ATS) had a chance to win two in a row for the first time this season, but couldn't get there in Week 15. The Jags gave up a New York Jets TD with 1:05 remaining and lost 32-25 as 3.5-point home underdogs.

Las Vegas (2-11 SU/4-9 ATS) still has to play in Week 15, hosting Atlanta on Monday night.

The spread and total are stable tonight in The SuperBook's NFL odds Week 16 market, at Raiders -1/39.5.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Washington Commanders Odds

Rookie QB Jayden Daniels and the Commanders face a tough Week 16 task. (Getty)
Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Eagles -3.5
  • Opening moneyline: Eagles -180/Commanders +160
  • Opening total: Over/Under 47 points scored
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

UPDATE 10 A.M. ET SUNDAY: Three hours before kickoff, in arguably the best game on the schedule, the Eagles are -4 at BetMGM. That's where Philly opened a week ago in the NFL odds Week 16 market.

In between, the Eagles fell to -3.5/-3 Monday and stabilized at -3.5 Tuesday, before returning to -4 this morning. In digital betting (mobile/online), BetMGM is seeing 76% of spread tickets/78% of spread money on the Eagles.

In fact, Philadelphia is No. 2 in spread tickets and No. 3 in spread money among all NFL teams today. Moneyline bettors are on the Eagles, too, at 59% of tickets/73% of cash.

"We want the Commanders for sure," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said. "We have a lot of one-way action on the favorites. So we'll need the 'dogs today."

The total opened at 46.5, bottomed out at 45 Saturday and is now 46 (Over -115). The Over is taking 63% of tickets/77% of cash.

UPDATE 12:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: Philly hit the board at Borgata Sports as 4-point chalk, and the line is down a notch to -3.5.

"We took some limit bets right away on Washington +4 and the Under," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "With the Lions losing to Buffalo, the Eagles are very much alive for the No. 1 seed in the NFC. So they have all the motivation in the world in this one.

"But in a division game, anything can happen. Last weekend, we were in the unusual spot of needing Philadelphia to cover against the Steelers, which they did. I believe we will probably need the home 'dog in this one."

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Philadelphia (12-2 SU/9-5 ATS) is the hottest team in the NFL at the moment, riding a 10-game win streak (7-3 ATS). In Week 15, the Eagles led Pittsburgh 17-13 at the half and didn't allow another point, winning 27-13 as 5.5-point home favorites.

Washington (9-5 SU/8-5-1 ATS) squeaked out of New Orleans with a win, but failed to cover the 7.5-point spread. The Commanders gave up a touchdown as time expired, trimming their lead to 20-19. But Washington stopped the 2-point attempt to secure the victory.

Philly opened -3.5 tonight and moved to -4 at The SuperBook. The total went the other direction, from 47 to 46.5/46.

"Both teams look to be headed to the playoffs, and the Eagles are suddenly in the mix for the No. 1 seed," SuperBook vice president John Murray said. "Philly and Tampa are probably going to be the two must public sides next weekend. I’m guessing we’ll be rooting for the artist formerly known as Football Team."

Detroit Lions vs. Chicago Bears Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Lions -7
  • Opening moneyline: Lions -350/Bears +290
  • Opening total: Over/Under 47 points scored
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

UPDATE 10 A.M. ET SUNDAY: This could be the decision of the day for sportsbooks across the country. Detroit is wildly popular, despite going 0-2-1 ATS in its last three games.

At BetMGM, the Lions opened -7 and advanced to -7.5 last Sunday night. Detroit then spent the next few days toggling between -7/-6.5 before stabilizing at -6.5 Wednesday. The line is at Detroit -7 (-105) this morning in NFL Week 16 odds.

In digital betting (mobile/online), a whopping 91% of spread tickets/88% of spread dollars are on the Lions. Detroit is No. 1 in spread tickets and spread money today at BetMGM. And moneyline play is solidly on Detroit, too, at 72% of tickets/66% of money.

"There are seven home underdogs in NFL Week 16., and the sportsbook will look for a few 'dogs to cover. The Bears pulling an upset would be the best outcome," BetMGM senior trader Tristan Davis said.

The total opened at 46.5, peaked at 48.5 and has been steady at 48 the past few days, with 56% of tickets on the Over/57% of cash on the Under.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Detroit is 6.5-point chalk at Borgata Sports, down a tick from the -7 opener.

"We saw respected money take the 7 with the Bears," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "With all of the injuries that the Lions are dealing with on both sides of the ball, I anticipate the Bears will probably attract a decent amount of action.

"We probably won’t have a big decision on this one, unlike the last time they met, on Thanksgiving."

In that matchup, liability loomed large on the Lions. Detroit built a 16-0 halftime lead, then barely hung on for a 23-20 victory laying 9.5 points at home.

UPDATE 11:30 P.M. ET MONDAY: Chicago (4-10 SU/7-6-1 ATS) was in one of two Week 15 Monday night games, and it didn't go well. The Bears lost at Minnesota 30-12 as 7-point road pups. Chicago is on an eight-game losing skid (2-5-1 ATS).

DraftKings Sportsbook opened Detroit -7.5 vs. Chicago in NFL Week 16 odds. However, earlier today, it was announced that Lions running back David Montgomery will have surgery on a torn MCL, and his season is over.

The Lions are now -6.5 while taking 84% of early spread tickets, but just 60% of early spread money.

The total didn't shift much, from 46.5 to 47 and back to 46.5, with 75% of tickets on the Over/63% of money on the Under.

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Detroit (12-2 SU/9-4-1 ATS) finally cooled off after posting 11 consecutive victories (8-3 ATS). The Lions couldn't keep up at home in a shootout with Buffalo, losing 48-42 as 2.5-point favorites.

Chicago (4-9 SU/7-5-1 ATS) still has Week 15 work to do, playing at Minnesota on Monday night.

The Lions opened as 7-point favorites vs. the Bears in The SuperBook's NFL odds Week 16 market. There's been no movement tonight.

Try our Fanatics Sportsbook promo code for the Lions vs Bears!

"The Lions' offense continues to fire on all cylinders. But their defensive issues should be very concerning for Detroit fans," SuperBook vice president John Murray said. "Chicago will come into this game off a short week, but the Bears nearly beat Detroit on the road on Thanksgiving.

"And the Bears and will have home-field advantage here – Jared Goff outdoors in the cold. I think Detroit will be a public side, but probably not to the level of the Eagles and Bucs."

Los Angeles Rams vs. New York Jets Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Rams -3
  • Opening moneyline: Rams -160/Jets +140
  • Opening total: Over/Under 47 points scored
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

UPDATE 10:30 A.M. ET SUNDAY: Los Angeles hit BetMGM's Week 16 NFL odds as 3-point favorites, spent the middle of the week at -3.5, then returned to -3 Thursday. The Rams are landing 71% of spread tickets/59% of spread money.

BetMGM opened the total at 46.5, quickly advanced to 47.5, but returned to 46.5 by Monday afternoon. It's now 46.5 (Over -115), with 69% of tickets/90% of money on the Over.

UPDATE 4:30 P.M. ET THURSDAY: The Rams toggled between -3/-3.5 a couple times this week in DraftKings Sportsbook's NFL Week 16 odds. L.A. is now -3 while netting 80% of early spread tickets/63% of early spread money.

The total opened at 47.5, hit a low of 46 Tuesday and is now 46.5. The Over is seeing 53% of tickets/66% of money so far.

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Los Angeles (8-6 SU/7-7 ATS) is making a push for the NFC West title. The Rams have won three in a row and are 7-2 SU/6-3 ATS in their last nine games.

In Week 15, L.A. mustered just four field goals at San Francisco. Yet that was enough for a 12-6 Rams win as 3-point road underdogs in the Thursday night game.

New York (4-10 SU/5-9 ATS) halted a four-game skid that was part of a 1-9 SU nosedive overall. A 1-yard Bryce Hall TD run with 1:05 remaining gave the Jets a 32-25 win as 3.5-point favorites at Jacksonville.

Los Angeles is stable tonight as 3-point chalk in The SuperBook's Week 16 NFL odds.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Carolina Panthers Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Cardinals -3.5
  • Opening moneyline: Cardinals -210/Panthers +180
  • Opening total: Over/Under 46.5 points scored
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

UPDATE 10:30 A.M. ET SUNDAY: Arizona is 5-point chalk on BetMGM's NFL odds Week 16 market. The Cards opened -4.5 and initially fell to -4 Monday. But the number rebounded to -4.5 Wednesday and -5 Saturday.

It's all Cardinals on the spread, at 81% of bets/82% of money.

The total opened at 45.5, got to 47 by Tuesday and stuck there much of the rest of the week. The Over is getting 60% of bets/68% of money.

UPDATE 12:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: ESPNBET has the Cardinals at -5, up from a -4.5 opener. Early spread tickets are running 3/1 and early spread money 2/1 on Arizona. And by percentage, a much larger majority of moneyline tickets and dollars are on the Cards.

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Arizona (7-7 SU/9-5 ATS) halted a three-game skid to stay in the mix in the NFC West. The Cardinals coasted past New England 30-17 giving 6 points at home.

The Cards opened -3.5 and quickly went to -4 tonight at The SuperBook.

UPDATE 10:30 A.M. ET SUNDAY: Cincinnati is a very public play today at BetMGM. The Bengals opened -7 and stretched to -8.5 by Thursday, in part due to the Browns benching Jameis Winston in favor of Dorian Thompson-Robinson.

Cincy advanced to -9.5 Saturday and -10 this morning. The Bengals are nabbing 86% of spread bets/94% of spread dollars. Cincinnati is taking the second-most money of any team today in NFL Week 16 odds.

The total opened at 49.5 and made its way down to 45.5 (Over -120) by this morning, with stops all along the way. It's now at 46.5, with 86% of bets/95% of money on the Under.

UPDATE 12:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: The Bengals are out to 9-point home favorites in ESPNBET's NFL odds Week 16 market. Cincinnati opened -7 on Sunday and is grabbing 86% of early spread bets/91% of early spread dollars.

Much of that has to do with the Browns trotting out another starting quarterback. Dorian Thompson-Robinson will be under center Sunday, after Cleveland benched Jameis Winston.

The total was also impacted by that move, tumbling from a 49.5 opener down to 46.5. The Over is taking 66% of bets, but 73% of money is on the Under.

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Cincinnati (6-8 SU/8-6 ATS) won and cashed for the second straight week, keeping alive very slim playoff hopes. The Bengals beat Tennessee 37-27 as 6-point road favorites.

That said, 79% of spread bets/73% of spread dollars are on Indianapolis. And moneyline action is similarly tilted, at 74% of bets/83% of money.

BetMGM's total is painted to 42.5, sticking there all week. The Over is netting 59% of bets/70% of money.

UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: The Colts are laying 3.5 points in ESPNBET's NFL Week 16 odds, down a notch from the -4 opener. Spread ticket count is 3/1-plus on Indianapolis, but spread money is running almost dead even.

The total opened at 42.5 and is now 42.5 (Over -115), with 63% of tickets and money on the Under.

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Indianapolis (6-8 SU/8-6 ATS) kept Denver in line for three quarters, holding a 13-10 lead. But the Colts shot themselves in the foot while giving gave up 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter. Indy lost 31-13 getting 4.5 points on the road.

Jonathan Taylor was practically in the end zone on a 41-yard touchdown run that would've put the Colts up 20-7 early in the third quarter. But he let go of the ball just before he crossed the goal line. The ball rolled out of bounds in the end zone for a touchback.

Indy also had a trick play go totally awry in the fourth quarter, leading to a Broncos defensive TD.

Tennessee (3-11 SU/2-12 ATS) is on slides of 1-5 SU and 1-9 ATS. In Week 15, the Titans led Cincinnati 14-7 well into the second quarter. But Tennessee gave up the next 24 points and lost 37-27 getting 6 points at home.

Indy is steady tonight at -4.5 in The SuperBook's Week 16 NFL odds.

New York Giants vs. Atlanta Falcons Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Falcons -10
  • Opening moneyline: Falcons -500/Giants +400
  • Opening total: Over/Under 42 points scored
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

UPDATE 10:45 A.M. ET SUNDAY: The Falcons will trot out rookie QB Michael Penix Jr. today. Atlanta opened -10 at BetMGM and dipped as low as -8 Tuesday, after Kirk Cousins was benched. But the line has since rebounded to Falcons -9.5.

Atlanta is taking 64% of spread tickets/54% of spread money.

The total opened at 42.5, bottomed out at 40.5 Tuesday, then made its way to 43 by Friday. The Under is nabbing 58% of tickets, while 75% of cash is on the Over.

UPDATE 5:30 P.M. ET FRIDAY: Atlanta is down to -8.5 from a -9.5 opener in ESPNBET's Week 16 NFL odds. That's primarily due to news earlier this week of Kirk Cousins' benching in favor of rookie Michael Penix Jr.

The Falcons are getting 65% of early spread bets/55% of early spread money.

ESPNBET opened the total at 42.5 and is now at 43.5 (Under -115), with 53% of bets on the Under, but 80% of cash on the Over.

UPDATE 9 P.M. ET TUESDAY: The Falcons just announced the benching of uber-expensive offseason acquisition Kirk Cousins. Rookie first-round pick Michael Penix Jr. will start at quarterback Sunday at home against the Giants.

However, The SuperBook thought ostensibly nothing of the change. The Falcons were -9 before the Penix move and remain -9 tonight.

"It's not really anything significant here. We're in no rush to move the line down against this current Giants team," SuperBook risk manager Casey Degnon said.

That said, The SuperBook lowered the total from 41.5 to 40.5.

UPDATE 11:30 P.M. ET MONDAY: Atlanta (7-7 SU/6-8 ATS) didn't look all that great Monday night in Las Vegas. But the Falcons scratched out a 15-9 victory laying 6.5 points, snapping a four-game SU and ATS slide.

DraftKings opened Giants-Falcons at Atlanta -9.5 and is now -10. The Falcons are seeing 60% of early spread tickets/83% of early spread money.

DK's total opened at 42.5 and nudged to 43 this morning, though 53% of tickets/61% of dollars are on the Under.

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: New York (2-12 SU/4-10 ATS) hasn't won a game since Week 5, going 0-9 SU/1-8 ATS. In Week 15, the Giants were catching a healthy 16.5 points vs. visiting Baltimore and lost 35-14.

Atlanta (6-7 SU/5-8 ATS) isn't yet out of Week 15, visiting Las Vegas on Monday night.

The SuperBook opened Giants-Falcons at Atlanta -10 in NFL Week 16 odds, with no movement tonight. The total quickly moved from 42 to 42.5.

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Ravens -6.5
  • Opening moneyline: Ravens -275/Steelers +235
  • Opening total: Over/Under 46.5 points scored
  • Time: 4:30 p.m. ET Saturday (FOX)

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET SATURDAY: Ninety minutes pre-kick, Baltimore is 7-point chalk in BetMGM's Week 16 NFL odds. The Ravens opened -6.5 and dipped -6 Monday, then toggled between -6.5/-7 the past couple days.

"Plenty of interest on Pittsburgh +7 and the moneyline. So we'll be rooting for Baltimore to cover -7 here," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.

The total opened at 46.5, spent most of the week at 45 and went to 44.5 this morning.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Baltimore is down to -6 from a -6.5 opener in Borgata Sports' NFL Week 16 odds. Sportsbook director Tom Gable said point-spread action is pretty even midweek, but the total is seeing more notable play/movement, after opening at 46.5.

"We saw some limit bets right away on the Under, and this moved to as low as 44.5, before coming back to 45.5," Gable said.

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Pittsburgh (10-4 SU and ATS) had its 7-1 SU and ATS run end in Week 15 at Philadelphia. The Steelers closed as 5.5-point underdogs and lost 27-13, failing to score in the second half.

Pittsburgh star linebacker T.J. Watt suffered an ankle injury, and is questionable for Saturday's game.

Meanwhile, after losing two of its last three games, Baltimore (9-5 SU/7-6-1 ATS) got right against the dreadful New York Giants. The Ravens rolled to a 35-14 victory laying a hefty 16.5 points on the road.

Baltimore opened -6.5 vs. Pittsburgh in The SuperBook's NFL Week 16 odds. The Ravens moved to -7 within a few minutes, then fell back to -6.5 an hour later this evening.

"We took a few hits on the Steelers +7 and moved to +6.5," SuperBook vice president John Murray said. "Baltimore had essentially a bye today against the Giants to tune them up for this game.

"This should be a heavy-handle game in the afternoon on Saturday. Lots of Ravens moneyline parlay and teaser bets."

The total mirrored the spread tonight in going from 46.5 to 47 and back to 46.5.

Houston Texas vs. Kansas City Chiefs Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Texans -2.5
  • Opening moneyline: Texans -135/Chiefs +115
  • Opening total: Over/Under 40 points scored
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET Saturday (NBC)

UPDATE NOON ET SATURDAY: An hour before kickoff, the Chiefs are -3.5 (-105) in BetMGM's NFL Week 16 odds. When Patrick Mahomes (ankle) was thought to be out, this line opened at Texans -2.5.

On Tuesday afternoon, when it appeared likely Mahomes would play, the line jumped straight from Houston -2 to K.C. -3. The Chiefs went to -3.5 Wednesday.

"The book looks fairly balanced right now, good action going both ways. There's definitely still some belief that Houston can have a shot here, even after the Mahomes news," BetMGM trading manager Seamus Magee said.

The total opened at 40.5 and fell to 39.5 early in the week, again on the thought Mahomes would sit out. But the number rebounded to 41.5 Tuesday, 42 Thursday and is now 42.5.

That noted, Magee said there' snot much of a decision on the total.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: This line saw major movement Tuesday, on the news that Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (ankle) participated in practice. After opening Houston as 3-point chalk, this line flipped all the way to K.C. -2.5, and it's now Chiefs -3 at Borgata Sports.

"Obviously, the status of Patrick Mahomes loomed large over this game. We opened Houston -3, with the idea that Mahomes wasn’t going to play," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "You saw the adjustment, though, when it was looking like he would give it a go. Mahomes has said that this high ankle sprain isn’t as bad as the one he suffered two years ago in the postseason.

"There was a lot of early Houston money that came in when it was assumed Mahomes wasn’t going to go. But some respected money did come in on the Chiefs when you could still get points with them."

The total opened at 40.5 and is now 41.5 in Borgata's Week 16 NFL odds.

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Kansas City (13-1 SU/6-8 ATS) finally avoided a close game and snapped a seven-game spread-covering slide in the process. The Chiefs coasted past Cleveland 21-7 as 4-point road favorites.

However, K.C. didn't avoid a key injury. QB Patrick Mahomes left midway through the fourth quarter after hurting his right ankle.

Houston (9-5 SU/6-8 ATS) followed a 1-3 SU skid by winning three of its last four. In Week 15, the Texans topped Miami 20-12 giving 2.5 points at home.

With Mahomes' status uncertain, The SuperBook actually opened Houston as 2.5-point road chalk in the NFL odds Week 16 market. That's a big shift from last week's lookahead line of Kansas City -3.5.

"I’m sure this will be the most talked-about game all week, with the status of Patrick Mahomes the key talking point," SuperBook vice president John Murray said. "Obviously, the line is saying we don’t think Mahomes plays, or at the very least won’t be fully healthy.

"With the Chiefs sitting at 13-1, it doesn’t make much sense to play him if he is hurt. They have been winning with their defense anyway. Getting Mahomes healthy and ready for January is all that matters to Kansas City."

The total opened at 40 and climbed to 41 within a few minutes tonight.

Denver Broncos vs. Los Angeles Chargers Odds

Matchup Spread Total Moneyline
  • Opening point spread: Chargers -3
  • Opening moneyline: Chargers -160/Broncos +140
  • Opening total: Over/Under 42 points scored
  • Time: 8:15 p.m. ET Thursday (Prime)

UPDATE 7:15 P.M. ET THURSDAY: The Chargers opened -3 (-115) Sunday night at DraftKings Sportsbook. Since then, L.A. toggled between various iterations of -3/-2.5, and the line is now Chargers -2.5 (-120).

Los Angeles is getting 55% of spread tickets/64% of spread money.

The total opened at 43 and slowly made its way to 41 by this morning. It's now at 41.5, with 57% of tickets/58% of cash on the Over.

DraftKings' Julian Edlow relayed this comment from the sportsbook's trading room: "Our preferred outcome for TNF would be a Chargers win, but a Broncos cover in a low-scoring game. A Chargers win is also good from a futures perspective. We're pulling for LAC to make the playoffs and for DEN to go Under 9.5 wins."

So the ideal outcome at DK is a thread-the-needle Chargers win by 1-2 points.

UPDATE 4:15 P.M. ET THURSDAY: Four hours before kickoff, the Chargers are -2.5 (-120) in ESPNBET's NFL Week 16 odds. That's down from the L.A. +3 opener, with Denver landing 63% of spread bets/60% of spread money.

Further, the Broncos are seeing modestly more moneyline bets and dollars, at 54% and 59%, respectively.

The total opened at 42.5 and is now 41.5 (Under -115), with 56% of bets on the Over/55% of money on the Under.

UPDATE 3 P.M. ET WEDNESDAY: Borgata Sports, a BetMGM shop in Atlantic City, opened L.A. -3 and is down to -2.5 in the NFL odds Week 16 market.

"Not a ton of advance action on this game, but what has been taken is pretty balanced. This will probably stay 2.5, as any 3 that pops will probably attract all Denver money and won’t last long," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said.

The total nudged from 42.5 to 42.

UPDATE 10:30 P.M. ET SUNDAY: Denver (9-5 SU/11-3 ATS) didn't do much at all through three quarters against Indianapolis, managing just 10 points while trailing 13-10. But the Broncos put up three TDs in the fourth quarter en route to a 31-13 victory giving 4.5 points at home.

To be fair, Denver was quite fortunate. Early in the third quarter, Jonathan Taylor was running in for a touchdown that would've put the Colts up 20-7. But he let go of the ball before he crossed the goal line, and the ball rolled out of bounds in the end zone for a touchback.

The Broncos also got a defensive touchdown early in the fourth quarter. Denver is 6-2 SU/7-1 ATS in its last eight games and has the best overall ATS record in the NFL.

Los Angeles (8-6 SU/9-5 ATS) had a surprising outcome in Week 15. The Chargers led Tampa Bay 17-13 at halftime, but got shut out the rest of the way while allowing 27 unanswered points. L.A. lost 40-17 as 3-point home favorites.

The SuperBook opened Broncos-Chargers at L.A. -3, with no movement so far tonight in Week 16 NFL odds.

"Chargers -3 at home, in a stadium that I’m assuming will be packed with Broncos fans on Thursday night," SuperBook vice president John Murray said. "This should be a solid game between two teams heading to the playoffs. We haven't seen much yet, but I would expect good two-way handle."
