2026 NFL Odds for Week 5

Buffalo Bills vs. Los Angeles Rams Odds

BUF @ LA Odds

  • Opening point spread: Rams -2.5
  • Opening moneyline: Rams -140/Bills +115
  • Opening total: Over/Under 53.5 points scored
  • Time: 8:15 p.m. ET Monday (ESPN/ABC)

LATEST UPDATE: At 7 p.m. ET on game day, 75 minutes pre-kick, the Rams are 3.5-point home favorites at BetMGM. And it's reduced juice, so the line is Rams -3.5 (-102)/Bills +3.5 (-108).

Los Angeles opened -2.5 eight days ago and bounced between -2.5/-3 several times early in the week. The Rams have been -3.5 steady since Thursday, at various juice.

"We want the Rams to cover, and any sort of low-scoring game would be our best outcome," BetMGM trading manager Tristan Davis said. "All the money is for the Bills. It tends to be that way when they are plus money."

BetMGM's total is now at 55.5, the highest in NFL odds Week 5 and in fact the highest of the season. The number opened at 53.5 and spent the early part of last week toggling between 54/54.5. It first touched 55 on Thursday, and it was 54.5 through the weekend.

Early today, the total went to 55, then in the past hour went to 55.5.

THIRD UPDATE: At noon ET on game day, DraftKings Sports has the Rams -3.5 (-102) in NFL Week 5 odds, moving off -3 a few times since Saturday. Eight days ago, L.A. opened -2.5, and the line was at various iterations of -3 from Tuesday until Saturday afternoon.

Contrary to the move, the Bills are taking 66% of spread bets, while spread money is dead even, eight hours before kickoff. And on the moneyline, it's 62% bets/70% money on Buffalo.

The total is at 54.5 (Over -118), among the highest of the season. DK opened at 53.5 and has been at some iteration of 54.5 since last Monday. No surprise, the Over is nabbing 73% of bets/77% of money.

SECOND UPDATE: At 3 p.m. ET Wednesday, the Rams are 3-point home chalk in Hard Rock Bet's NFL odds Week 5, for a massive Monday night matchup. Los Angeles opened -2.5 (-120) Sunday night and advanced to -3 (even) Monday afternoon, then got to -3 flat Wednesday morning.

Spread tickets are running dead even, while 61% of early spread money is on the Rams. L.A. is also taking 79% of early moneyline dollars. All that said:

"The total is the story on Monday night," Hard Rock Bet's Jon Chapper said.

So far, 72% of bets/89% of cash is on the Over, with the total advancing from 53.5 to 54.5. The total is tied for the highest on the Week 5 board, with the Lions-Cardinals, and is among the highest totals of the season.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Buffalo (3-1 SU and ATS) were touchdown favorites to remain perfect on the field and at the betting window. But New England spoiled those plans, with the Bills losing 29-26 at home.

Buffalo gave up a TD with 1:50 remaining, plenty of time to counter and win. But Josh Allen threw an interception with 1:14 remaining, and the Pats ran out the clock.

Los Angeles (2-2 SU and ATS), the preseason favorite in Super Bowl odds, was on the brink of its third loss in four games. But trailing 20-10 well into the fourth quarter, the Rams scored two touchdowns in the final four minutes to beat Philadelphia 24-20 as 3.5-point road favorites.

Kyren Williams' 7-yard TD run with 1:10 remaining was the difference.

"On paper, when the schedule came out, some people pointed to this game as a potential Super Bowl preview in Week 5," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "The Rams were lucky to escape Philly with a win, while the Bills are coming off their first loss of the season.

"This game may touch 3, but I believe it will settle in at 2.5 for most of the week."

Baltimore Ravens vs. Atlanta Falcons Odds

BAL @ ATL Odds

  • Opening point spread: Ravens -4
  • Opening moneyline: Ravens -210/Falcons +170
  • Opening total: Over/Under 47 points scored
  • Time: 8:20 p.m. ET Sunday (NBC)

LATEST UPDATE: At 7 p.m. ET on game day, 80 minutes before kickoff, the Falcons are -3 (-118) in BetMGM's NFL odds Week 1 market. That's relatively miles from the Ravens -4 opener, almost all due to Lamar Jackson (ankle) not playing this week.

The line made its way from Ravens -4 to -1 by Tuesday morning, then jumped the fence to Falcons -1 shortly thereafter. By mid-Tuesday morning, Atlanta was up to -3, and the line has toggled between -3/-3.5 ever since, at various juice.

"There's lots of money still to be bet," BetMGM trading manager Tristan Davis said. "But at this stage, we want the Ravens to win. And we're expecting a lot of positive same-game parlays to fly in after these [late-window] games are done. So we will want the Under."

The total is at 44, down from a 47 opener, but up from a 43.5 low, with most of the movement occurring early in the week.

FOURTH UPDATE: Lamar Jackson on Friday was officially ruled out against the Falcons, due to an ankle injury. So it'll be Tyler Huntley under center for the Ravens on Sunday night.

The news had little impact on the spread, already baked into the number since Tuesday. DraftKings Sportsbook has Atlanta as a 3.5-point favorite on Friday afternoon and has bounced between Falcons -3/-3.5 several times since Tuesday.

That's after opening Baltimore -3.5 (-105) and sitting at Ravens -2.5 throughout Monday, before the line jumped the fence Tuesday morning.

All that noted, spread ticket count is almost dead even, with 52% on the Falcons, and the Ravens are taking 65% of spread money. And moneyline action is two-way: 56% of tickets on Atlanta/53% of cash on Baltimore.

DK's total is at 43.5, painted there since Tuesday morning. The number toggled between the 47.5 opener/46.5 a few times Sunday/early Monday, went to 45.5 Monday morning and 44.5 Monday afternoon.

Perhaps surprisingly, the Over is netting 67% of tickets/89% of money at DraftKings.

THIRD UPDATE: Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) is listed as questionable. Oddsmakers think doubtful is more accurate.

As such, this line has made a huge move at Hard Rock Bet, indicating Jackson is worth 7 points to the spread.

"This one has flipped entirely. We opened Baltimore -3.5 early Monday, and it's Atlanta -3.5 now," Hard Rock's Jon Chapper said Wednesday afternoon. "Customers have piled onto Atlanta."

Indeed, the Falcons are -3.5 (-105), attracting 72% of early spread bets/87% of early spread money. After opening Baltimore -3.5 and going to -2.5 Monday, on Tuesday morning, the line flipped to Falcons -1/-1.5/-2/-2.5, all in less than 30 minutes.

The line then went to Atlanta -3 on Tuesday afternoon and -3.5 (-105) on Wednesday afternoon.

Hard Rock's total is down to 44 from a 46.5 opener.

SECOND UPDATE: Atlanta (2-2 SU and ATS) looked much better than a .500 team in the Week 4 Monday night game. Bijan Robinson ran for two TDs and Brian Robinson had three scores, and the Falcons body-slammed New Orleans 45-24 as 1.5-point road underdogs.

Meanwhile, Baltimore is hoping QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) will be good to go Sunday night. But as of midnight ET Monday, Jackson is questionable.

DraftKings Sports opened the Ravens -3.5 (-105) and on Monday afternoon dipped to -3/-2.5, where the line remains at midnight ET Monday. Baltimore is actually taking 63% of early spread bets, but spread money is dead even.

DK's total opened at 46.5, fell to 44.5 Monday afternoon and climbed to 45.5 after Atlanta's Monday night win. On very limited action so far, it's practically all Over tickets and money.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Baltimore (3-1 SU/2-2 ATS) lost Lamar Jackson to an ankle sprain just before halftime in Week 4. Thankfully, the Ravens alread led Tennessee 24-7 and held on for a 24-18 victory, while failing to cash as 11.5-point home favorites.

At the moment, Jackson is considered day-to-day for the Week 5 Sunday night game.

Atlanta (1-2 SU and ATS) still has Week 4 work to do. The Falcons visit New Orleans in the Monday night game.

Borgata Sports went ahead and opened Baltimore as 4-point road chalk, with no movement Sunday night.

"This should be an entertaining Sunday night game. The opening money has come in on the home 'dog Falcons, taking the 4," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "I could see this total drift slightly higher."

San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks Odds

  • Opening point spread: Seahawks -3
  • Opening moneyline: Seahawks -165/49ers +135
  • Opening total: Over/Under 47 points scored
  • Time: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

LATEST UPDATE: The Seahawks are 3-point home chalk in BetMGM's NFL odds Week 5, as of 3:30 p.m. ET on game day, 55 minutes pre-kick. Seattle also opened -3, stuck there all week at various juice, then Saturday got to -3.5 for a couple hours, before reverting to -3 (-120).

Much like several games today, BetMGM is looking for a favorite win/underdog cover.

"We want the 49ers to cover, but not win," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said.

The total is at 47, up a tick from the 46.5 opener and 46 low. That 47 also matches the early-week high, moving off 46.5 in the past 30 minutes. Cipollini said the Under is the need.

SECOND UPDATE: Hard Rock Bet has the Seahawks as 3-point home favorites at 7 p.m. ET Wednesday. In fact, this number hasn't moved off Seattle -3, seeing only a couple of juice adjustments, from -120 to -115 to -110.

Opinions are split, with 63% of early spread bets on the Niners/61% of early spread money on the Seahawks.

Hard Rock's total went from 46.5 to 46 Wednesday, after opening at 47. The Under is nabbing 66% of bets/74% of money so far.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: San Francisco (4-0 SU/3-1 ATS) managed just one field goal in the first half vs. Denver, going to halftime tied at 3. But the Niners scored three touchdowns in the second half en route to a 24-14 victory as 3-point home favorites.

Seattle (3-1 SU/1-2-1 ATS) built a 27-6 lead by early in the third quarter vs. the Chargers, and needed almost all of it. The Seahawks held on for a 30-23 victory, pushing as 7-point home favorites.

As that game ended, Borgata Sports pegged Seattle a 3-point home favorite vs. San Francisco in Week 5 NFL odds.

"Early money on both sides at 3 here," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "It's a very big division matchup, with the Niners undefeated in the early going. I expect this game to have the highest handle of the Sunday slate in Week 5."

Detroit Lions vs. Arizona Cardinals Odds

DET @ ARI Odds

  • Opening point spread: Lions -5.5
  • Opening moneyline: Lions -250/Cardinals +210
  • Opening total: Over/Under 53 points scored
  • Time: 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

LATEST UPDATE: At 3:30 p.m. ET on game day, the Lions are laying 5.5 points on the road in BetMGM's Week 5 NFL odds. And it's -105 juice on both sides. A week ago, Detroit opened -5.5, then slipped to -4.5 Sunday night and -4 Monday.

The Lions spent much of the first half of the week at -4.5 and the second half of the week bouncing between -5/5.5. The last move came late this morning, from Detroit -5 to -5.5.

"We'll need the Cardinals for sure. It's the biggest need in this late window," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said, noting Arizona outright is the preference.

The total just ticked from 54.5 to 55, the highest on the board this week. That's after opening at 53 and going to 54/54.5 in short order. Cipollini sad the book needs the Under, no surprise.

SECOND UPDATE: The Lions are 5.5-point road favorites in DraftKings' NFL odds Week 5 market, as of 3 p.m. ET Thursday. Detroit also opened -5.5, then went to -4.5 early Monday and returned to -5.5 early Wednesday.

It's two-way spread play early, with 55% of bets on the Lions/52% of money on the Cardinals.

DraftKings' total is at 54.5 (Over -115), tied with Bills-Rams for the highest on the Week 5 board. It's heavy Over action so far, at 90% of bets/79% of tickets.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Detroit (2-2 SU/1-2-1 ATS) was a straight-up and spread-covering machine for three full seasons, from the middle of 2022-23 through the Week 10 of 2025-26. But the Lions have fallen off that pace ever since.

That trend continued in the Week 4 Sunday nighter. Detroit was a 4.5-point favorite at Carolina and lost outright 32-26. In the last dozen games, the Lions are 5-7 SU/3-8-1 ATS.

Arizona (1-3 SU/2-2 ATS) jumped out to a 14-3 first-quarter lead vs. the New York Giants. But the Cardinals, 2.5-point road favorites, couldn't make it stand and ultimately lost 36-24 on a heartbreaker of a final play.

Trailing 30-24 and facing fourth-and-goal at the 4-yard line, Jacoby Brissett was picked off by Deonte Banks, who ran it back 98 yards for a touchdown.

BetMGM opened Detroit as a 5.5-point road favorite in NFL odds Week 5, before the Week 4 Sunday night loss. Afterward, the Lions adjusted to -4.5, then went to -4 Monday morning. Detroit stood at -4.5 as of late Monday night.

Also as of late Monday, the total is up to 54.5, matching Bills-Rams for the highest on the board.

Denver Broncos vs. Los Angeles Chargers Odds

DEN @ LAC Odds

  • Opening point spread: Broncos -3.5
  • Opening moneyline: Broncos -190/Chargers +160
  • Opening total: Over/Under 43 points scored
  • Time: 4:05 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

LATEST UPDATE: At 3:20 p.m. ET on game day, 45 minutes before kickoff, the Broncos are 3.5-point road chalk in BetMGM's NFL Week 5 odds. And it's -105 juice on both sides.

And Denver has actually been painted to -3.5 since this game opened a week ago, seeing only juice adjustments the past seven days.

"We need the Chargers to cover, but not win," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said.

The total is at 42, down from a 43 opener, and spent much of the week toggling between 42.5/42. It touched 41.5 briefly on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Cipollini said the Under is the neeed, per usual, though not necessarily due to straight bets.

More so, it's parlays/same-game parlays and player props creating that need.

SECOND UPDATE: The Broncos are laying 3.5 points on the road in DraftKings' Week 5 NFL odds, as of 2:30 p.m. ET Thursday. For that matter, Denver has been painted to -3.5 all week, with only a couple of juice adjustments so far.

Early spread tickets slightly favor the Broncos, at 53%, but 71% of early spread money is on the home 'dog Chargers.

DK's total is at 41.5 (Over -115), down from a 43.5 opener, with a stop at 42.5 along the way. The Over is netting 69% of tickets, while 85% of cash is on the Under so far.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Denver (2-2 SU and ATS) was a in a 3-3 tie at halftime vs. San Francisco in Week 4. But the Broncos couldn't keep pace in the second half, losing 24-14 as 3-point road 'dogs.

Los Angeles (0-4 SU/0-3-1 ATS) is still seeking its first win or even a cover this season. In Week 4, the Chargers couldn't overcome a 27-6 third-quarter deficit, losing 30-23 at Seattle, but pushing as a 7-point pup.

Broncos-Chargers opened at Denver -3.5 in BetMGM's NFL Week 5 odds, with no movement Sunday night. The total dipped from 43 to 42.5.

Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers Odds

  • Opening point spread: Bears -1
  • Opening moneyline: Bears -120/Packers even
  • Opening total: Over/Under 44 points scored
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

LATEST UPDATE: At 12:15 p.m. ET on game day, 45 minutes pre-kick, the Bears are -1.5 in DraftKings Sports' Week 5 NFL odds. That matches the opener, though Chicago spent the early part of the week mostly toggling between -2.5/-3.

The number has been steady at Chicago -1.5, at various juice, since Thursday night.

"Bears-Packers is pretty split. We've got no real need," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said.

DraftKings' total is at 47.5 (Under -118), up from a 45.5 opener and 44.5 early low point. The Over is taking a solid majority of tickets and dollars.

SECOND UPDATE: Caleb Williams (hamstring) will miss his third straight start, with Tyson Bagent expected under center for the Bears on the road. Still, as of 3 p.m. ET Wednesday, Chicago is out to -2.5 (-120) in Hard Rock Bet's NFL Week 5 odds, after opening -1 (-105).

In fact, the Bears got to -3 (-105) late Monday night, then went to -2.5 Wednesday morning. It's heavy Chicago spread play early, with 77% of bets/82% of cash on the Bears, who are also getting 92% of early moneyline dollars.

Hard Rock's total has been steady at 45.5 since Tuesday morning, after opening at 44 and making stops at 44.5/45.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Chicago (3-1 SU and ATS) have three wins with three quarterbacks this season. In Week 4, Tyson Bagent got the start and helped Bears to a 23-12 win as 3.5-point home favorites vs. the Jets.

Green Bay (2-2 SU/1-3 ATS) came back from an embarrasing home loss to Atlanta by winning on the road in Week 4. The Packers weren't exactly dynamic vs. Tampa Bay, but held on for a 17-4 victory giving 2.5 points.

BetMGM opened the Bears -1.5 and went to -1 Sunday night.

Las Vegas Raiders vs. New England Patriots Odds

  • Opening point spread: Patriots -3.5
  • Opening moneyline: Patriots -200/Raiders +160
  • Opening total: Over/Under 45.5 points scored
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

LATEST UPDATE: At 12:15 p.m. ET on game day, 45 minutes before kickoff, BetMGM has the Patriots -3.5 in NFL Week 5 odds. And it's reduced juice, so the numbers are Pats -3.5 (even)/Raiders +3.5 (-110).

New England also opened -3.5, then made a couple of early-week trips to -4. But it's been steady at Pats -3.5 since Tuesday morning, at various juice.

"We're hoping the Raiders cover, but don't win," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said.

The total is at 45.5, matching the opener, up from a 44.5 low early on and a tick below this morning's 46 high point. Cipollini said BetMGM pretty much always needs the Under, if not from straight bets, then certainly due to parlays/same-game parlays/player props etc.

THIRD UPDATE: DraftKings has the Patriots -3.5 (-105) in Week 5 NFL odds, as of 10:30 a.m. ET on game day. In fact, this line is painted to New England -3.5, with no movement all week, save for juice adjustments.

Spread bettors lean toward the Pats, at 61% of bets/68% of money. DK's moneyline is a a stronger lean, at 71% of bets/72% of money.

DraftKings' total is at 45.5 (Under -115), sitting there since Monday after opening at 45.5 and going to 44.5 for about 10 hours. The Over is seeing 64% of bets/67% of money.

SECOND UPDATE: New England is laying 3.5 points at home in Hard Rock Bet's Week 5 NFL odds, as of 7 p.m. ET Wednesday. The Patriots opened -4 Sunday night and went to -3.5 Monday.

Early action is landing on the underdog Raiders, at 70% of spread tickets/69% of spread money. In addition, 72% of early moneyline wagers are on Las Vegas.

Hard Rock's total is painted to 45, with 57% of bets on the Over/56% of money on the Under.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Las Vegas (3-1 SU/4-0 ATS) gave Kansas City all it could handle in a battle of unbeatens in Week 4. But ultimately, the Raiders fell just short in a 30-27 loss, while covering as 5.5-point underdogs to stay perfect at the betting window.

New England (2-2 SU/3-1 ATS) notched the upset of Week 4, stopping the hottest team in the league. The Patriots closed as 7-point underdogs at Buffalo and won 29-26 on Drake Maye's 23-yard TD pass to Efton Chism III with 1:50 remaining.

New England closed the door by picking off Bills QB Josh Allen with 1:14 remaining.

The Patriots then opened as 3.5-point home favorites vs. the Raiders in Borgata Sports' NFL Week 5 odds.

"Very early money is on the Patriots, and you’ll probably see some toggling between 3.5 and 4," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "The Raiders gave the Chiefs a great game in Week 4, but couldn’t quite get the job done, while the Patriots handed the Bills their first loss of the season.

"Drake Maye looked a lot better, and maybe that was the spark New England needed to get its season back on track."

Cleveland Browns vs. New York Jets Odds

  • Opening point spread: Jets -1
  • Opening moneyline: Jets -118/Browns even
  • Opening total: Over/Under 40 points scored
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

LATEST UPDATE: New York is laying 2.5 points at home in BetMGM's NFL Week 5 odds, as of 12:15 p.m. ET on game day. The Jets opened -1 and got to -1.5/-2/-2.5 in relatively short order last Sunday.

The line toggled between -1.5/-2 much of the week, then got to -2.5 Saturday and again this morning.

"We're hoping for the Jets to win, but not cover. We've got Browns backers going moneyline and Jets backers on the spread," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said.

BetMGM's total is at 38.5, down a point just this morning and 1.5 points shy of the 40 opener. Tickets and money are dead even. But when factoring in parlays/same-game parlays/player props, the book likely wants a lower-scoring affair.

SECOND UPDATE: The Jets are 2.5-point home favorites in DraftKings Sports' NFL odds Week 5 market, as of 1:30 p.m. ET Thursday. New York opened -1.5, went to -2/-2.5 Monday, fell to -1.5 Wednesday and returned to -2.5 in literally just the past few minutes.

However, counter to the movement, early spread play is all Browns, at 84% of tickets/90% of money. Early moneyline action is similarly slanted toward Cleveland.

DraftKings' total is at 39.5, matching the opener while moving off 40 Thursday morning, and it's down from the 40.5 high, as well. Ticket count is dead even, but 83% of cash is on the Over so far.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Cleveland (3-1 SU and ATS) is coming off a win and has the mini-bye, playing in the Week 4 Thursday night game. The Browns knocked off Pittsburgh 27-24 on a 56-yard Andre Szmyt field goal with 10 seconds remaining.

Semi-stunningly, Cleveland is on a 3-0 SU and ATS upswing.

On the flip side, New York (1-3 SU/2-1-1 ATS) is on a three-game SU slide. In Week 4, the Jets mustered just two field goals and a touchdown in a 23-13 loss to Chicago as 3.5-point road pups.

Despite that, New York opened as a 1-point home favorite in BetMGM's NFL odds Week 5 market. And within a couple hours Sunday night, the Jets advanced to -1.5/-2.

New York Giants vs. Washington Commanders Odds

  • Opening point spread: Commanders -3.5
  • Opening moneyline: Commanders -175/Giants +145
  • Opening total: Over/Under 44.5 points scored
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

LATEST UPDATE: Washington is -3.5 in BetMGM's NFL odds Week 5, as of 11 a.m. ET on game day, two hours before kickoff. And BetMGM is dealing reduced juice, at Commanders -3.5 (-102)/Giants +3.5 (-108).

A week ago, the Commanders opened -3.5, then made a couple of early-week trips to -3. But the line got to Washington -4 a couple times on Thursday/Friday, before returning to -3.5 over the weekend. The road 'dog is getting significant moneyline interest.

"This is similar to Browns-Jets. We're hoping the Giants cover, but probably not to win," BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said.

BetMGM's total is at 41.5, down from a 44 opener, but moving up from 41.5 this morning. Still, when factoring in parlays/same-game-parlays and player props, the book likely needs the Under today.

SECOND UPDATE: At 2:30 p.m. ET Thursday, Washington is -3.5 (-115) in DraftKings' NFL odds Week 5. The Commanders opened -2.5 and quickly got to -3 Sunday, then went to -3.5 Tuesday.

However, the action is contrary to the spread moves. The Giants are netting 78% of early bets/86% of early money. New York is also landing 60% of moneyline bets/88% of moneyline dollars.

DK's total is at 41.5 (Over -115), reaching that low point this morning. The total opened at 43.5 and briefly touched 44.5 (Under -115) Sunday night, then returned to 43.5. It went to 42.5 Tuesday. The Over has 75% of bets, while 60% of money is on the Under.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: New York lost Jaxson Dart in Week 2, yet is still 3-1 SU and ATS. In Week 4, Jameis Winston had three TD passes — and two INTs — but the Giants clinched the 36-24 win on Deonte Banks' 98-yard interception return for a touchdown.

The INT came on the game's final play. The Cardinals faced fourth-and-goal at the 4-yard line, with the Giants up 30-24 as 2.5-point home 'dogs. Banks picked off Jacoby Brissett and took it to the house.

Washington (1-3 SU/2-2 ATS) lost QB Marcus Mariota (knee) in the second quarter vs. Indianapolis. That left the Commanders with third-string QB Athan Kaliakmanis, who wasn't enough in a 30-13 loss as 4.5-point underdogs in London.

Despite its beat-up quarterback room, Washington opened -3.5 Sunday night in BetMGM's NFL odds Week 5. The line briefly dipped to -3 (-118), then went to -3.5 (-102), with QB Jayden Daniels (elbow) expected to return.

The total inched from 44.5 to 44.

Minnesota Vikings vs. New Orleans Saints Odds

  • Opening point spread: Vikings -1.5
  • Opening moneyline: Vikings -120/Saints even
  • Opening total: Over/Under 43 points scored
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

LATEST UPDATE: Minnesota is -1.5 (-120) in DraftKings' NFL odds Week 5, as of 10:30 a.m. ET on game day, 2.5 hours before kickoff. The Vikes opened -1.5 flat and toggled to -2.5 a couple times, most recently in just the past 30 minutes.

Minnesota is netting 62% of spread tickets, but 52% of spread money is on home 'dog New Orleans.

DK's total is at 41.5, down from a 43.5 opener, and it's toggled between 42.5/41.5 several times this week. The Over has 65% of tickets, while 56% of cash is on the Under.

THIRD UPDATE: At midnight ET Thursday, the Vikes are 2.5-point road favorites in DraftKings Sports' NFL Week 5 odds. Minnesota opened -1.5 Sunday night, briefly touched -2.5 (-105) early Wednesday, then returned to -2.5 Thursday morning.

Early spread play is leaning into the Vikings, at 66% of bets/65% of money.

DK's total is at 41.5, down from a 43.5 opener and having spent much of the week toggling between 41.5/42.5. The last move between those two numbers came Thursday morning. Bet count is dead even, while 73% of money is on the Under so far.

SECOND UPDATE: The Saints (1-3 SU/2-2 ATS) nearly upset Detroit in Week 1 and did upset Baltimore in Week 2. But New Orleans was favored at home in Weeks 3 and 4 and lost both times.

In the Week 4 Monday nighter, the Saints got beaten up by Atlanta's two-headed Robinson monster — Bijan and Brian — in a 45-24 loss as 1.5-point favorites.

DraftKings Sports opened Vikes-Saints at Minnesota -1.5 on Sunday night, and that's where the number remains at midnight Monday. It's all Vikings early on the spread, at 69% of bets and practically all the money.

DK's total opened at 43.5, dipped to 41.5 Monday afternoon and was at 42.5 late Monday night. The Over is seeing 64% of early bets, but money is running dead even.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Minnesota (4-0 SU/3-1 ATS) could be perfect ATS, as well, if not for a charitable act from T.J. Hockenson. The Vikings tight end slid down inside the 2-yard line, rather than score with two minutes remaining Sunday against Miami.

From there, it was three Kyler Murray kneeldowns to seal a 15-10 rock fight of a victory. The Vikes closed as 9.5- or 10-point favorites, depending on the book, so a Hockenson TD could've beaten the number, if Miami didn't score in the final two minutes.

Semi-related: The Vikings were the most-selected team in Circa Survivor Week 4.

New Orleans (1-2 SU/2-1 ATS) isn't yet out of Week 4. The Saints host Atlanta on Monday Night Football.

Borgata Sports opened Minnesota -1.5 on the road in Week 5 NFL odds.

"I would not be surprised if we need Minnesota here," Borgata sportsbok director Tom Gable said.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Miami Dolphins Odds

  • Opening point spread: Bengals -7.5
  • Opening moneyline: Bengals -425/Dolphins +320
  • Opening total: Over/Under 43.5 points scored
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (FOX)

LATEST UPDATE: Cincy is 7-point home chalk in BetMGM's NFL odds Week 5 market, as of 10:30 a.m. ET on game day, 2.5 hours before kickoff. The Bengals opened -7.5, toggled to -7 a couple times early in the week, then spent much of the past four days at various iterations of -7.

It's two-way spread play, with 58% of tickets on Cincinnati/58% of money on Miami.

BetMGM's total is at 45, reaching that high point this morning after opening at 42.5. That said, it's two-way play with just a slight lean toward the Over.

SECOND UPDATE: At 2 p.m. ET Thursday, the Bengals are -7 (-105) in DraftKings' NFL Week 5 odds. Cincinnati opened -7.5, went to -7 Monday and -6.5. Wednesday, then returned to -7 Thursday afternoon.

Early spread play is solidly on the Bengals, at 77% of bets/69% of money. And that's with all three Bengals wideouts questionable: Ja'Marr Chase (concussion protocol), Tee Higgins (groin/neck) and Colbie Young (knee). Cincy is banged up on defense, too.

Miami wideouts Caleb Douglas (ankle) and Chris Bell (knee) are also questionable.

DK's total is at 42.5, notably down from the 45.5 opener. In fact, it slid from 45.5 to 42 within a few hours Sunday night, then nudged to 42.5 Monday. The Over has 69% of bets, but 71% of dollars are on the Under.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Cincinnati (2-2 SU and ATS) was in a 13-3 halftime hole vs. Jacksonville and couldn't quite dig out. The Bengals lost 23-17 as 2.5-point home favorites.

Miami (0-4 SU/1-3 ATS) was somehow still in it at Minnesota, despite scoring just 10 points. The Dolphins entered the fourth quarter down 12-10 and lost 15-10 as 9.5-point road underdogs, covering for the first time this season.

Cincy opened -7.5 in BetMGM's Week 5 NFL odds and briefly dipped to -7 before settling at -7.5 (-102) Sunday night. The total opened at 43.5 and dipped to 42 in short order, then went to 42.5.

Houston Texans vs. Tennessee Titans Odds

  • Opening point spread: Texans -6.5
  • Opening moneyline: Texans -300/Titans +250
  • Opening total: Over/Under 39.5 points scored
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

LATEST UPDATE: Houston is 6.5-point road favorite at 10:30 a.m. ET on game day, moving off -7 in the past hour at BetMGM. The Texans opened -6.5, peaked at -7.5 Tuesday and were at -7 from Friday afternoon until this morning.

Spread tickets are running dead even, while 57% of spread money is on Houston.

BetMGM's total is at 38, down from a 39.5 opener. Tickets are dead even, while 79% of money is on the Under.

SECOND UPDATE: The Texas are -7.5 (-105) in DraftKings' Week 5 NFL odds, as of 2 p.m. ET Thursday. Houston toggled between the -6.5 opener/-7 early in the week, then went to -7.5 Tuesday afternoon.

Opinions are divided on the spread, with 61% of bets on the Texans/65% of money on the Titans.

DK's total is at 38.5 (Under -115), the lowest on the board this week. That number is down from the 40.5 opener, but moved up this morning from the 37.5 low. The Over is getting 56% of bets/61% of money.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Houston is 0-4 SU and ATS, after making the playoffs last season. In Week 4, the Texans led Dallas 16-6 at halftime and 23-13 early in the third quarter. But Houston gave up 21 of the game's final 28 points in a 34-30 loss as 3-point home chalk.

Tennessee (0-4 SU/2-2 ATS) is still looking for its first SU win of the season. The Titans trailed Baltimore 24-7 at halftime and stiffened from there, but couldn't recover in a 24-18 loss getting 11.5 points.

Tennessee didn't have to face Lamar Jackson in the second half, after the Ravens QB exited with an ankle injury.

BetMGM opened Texans-Titans at Houston -6.5, with no movement Sunday night.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Odds

IND @ PIT Odds

  • Opening point spread: Steelers -2.5
  • Opening moneyline: Steelers -135/Colts +110
  • Opening total: Over/Under 44 points scored
  • Time: 1 p.m. ET Sunday (CBS)

LATEST UPDATE: BetMGM is at Steelers -3 (-102) in NFL Week 5 odds, at 11 a.m. ET on game day. Pittsburgh opened -2.5 and had a couple brief early stints at -2, then spent most of the week at various iterations of -2.5.

The line first got to -3 on Saturday night and most recently went from -2.5 (-118) to -3 (-102) earlier this morning. Pittsburgh is drawing 65% of sprad tickets/68% of spread money.

BetMGM's total is at 42, down 1.5 points in just the past couple hours. The number also opened at 43.5 and initially climbed to 44/44.5/45 early in the week, then fell back to 43.5 by Friday.

Ticket count is close, at 52% on the Under, and 65% of cash is on the Under.

SECOND UPDATE: At 2:30 p.m. ET Thursday, the Steelers are -2.5 (-118) in DraftKings' NFL Week 5 odds. In fact, Pittsburgh is pinned to -2.5, with only a couple juice moves so far this week, after opening -2.5 flat.

Spread ticket count is close, with 55% on the Steelers. But 71% of spread dollars are on Pittsburgh.

DraftKings' total is at 44.5, matching the opener after spending a few minutes Tuesday at 44. In the early going, it's 86% of tickets/92% of cash on the Over.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Pittsburgh (2-2 SU and ATS) is coming off a mini-bye, having played — and lost — in the Week 4 Thursday night game. The Steelers were 2.5-point road favorites vs. Cleveland and came up short 27-24 on a final-seconds field goal.

That was after Pittsburgh rallied from a 21-10 halftime deficit to tie it at 24 with 1:42 remaining.

Indianapolis (2-2 SU/3-1 ATS) made the long trip to London a successful one. The Colts led Washington 10-6 at halftime, then pulled away for a 30-13 victory as 4.5-point neutral-site favorites.

On Sunday night, Pittsburgh went from -2.5 to -2, then back to -2.5 in BetMGM's NFL Week 5 odds. The total nudged from 44 to 43.5.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Jacksonville Jaguars Odds

  • Opening point spread: Jaguars -3.5
  • Opening moneyline: Jaguars -185/Eagles +150
  • Opening total: Over/Under 43 points scored
  • Time: 9:30 a.m. ET Sunday (NFL Network)

LATEST UPDATE: At 9 a.m. ET on game day, 30 minutes pre-kick, the Jaguars are up to -8 in BetMGM's NFL Week 1 odds. And it's reduced juice, so it's Jacksonville -8 (-102)/Philadelphia +8 (-108). The line moved off -7.5 late Saturday night.

A week ago, the Jags opened -3.5. But the line was on the move throughout the week off all the Eagles injury news, most notably that Saquon Barkely and DeVonta Smith are out with hamstring injuries. The line got to Jags -6 by Monday and -7.5 by Tuesday.

That said, there's a spread lean to the Eagles, at 52% of bets/60% of money at BetMGM. In fact, Philly is taking more spread tickets than any other team today, though part of that is a function of this game being first on deck.

BetMGM's total is at 41.5, matching the low of the week after opening at 43. It's two-way play, with 56% of bets on the Over/54% of money on the Under.

THIRD UPDATE: Eagles running back Saquon Barkley and wideout DeVonta Smith will both sit Sunday with hamstring injuries. Wideout Hollywood Brown (ankle) is also out, and several more Philly players are questionable.

DraftKings Sports had pretty much accounted for all that while moving from Sunday's Jaguars -3.5 opener to -7 by Monday night. The line got to -7.5 Thursday morning and remains there as of 5 p.m. ET Friday.

All that noted, early spread betting doesn't favor Jacksonville by much, at 55% of tickts and money. And on the moneyline, while the Jags are seeing 76% of tickets, 55% of money is on the Eagles, currently +295.

DraftKings' total is down to 41.5, moving off 42.5 early Thursday. The number toggled between the 42.5 opener/43.5 a couple times until settling at 42.5 Monday morning. Still, 75% of tickets/62% of dollars are on the Over for a Sunday matchup in London.

SECOND UPDATE: The Eagles have injuries all over the place, most notably to skill players on offense. Saquon Barkley (hamstring) and DeVonta Smith (hamstring) are both questionable this week, and tight end Dallas Goedert (knee) is doubtful, set to miss a third straight game.

Furthermore, running back Tank Bigsby (abdomen) was put on IR this week.

In respone, the Eagles-Jags line has exploded, from Jacksonville -3.5 Sunday to -7.5 early Thursday. The number got to Jags -4.5 in short order Sunday night, climbed to -5/-5.5/-6 Monday and reached -7 (-115) Tuesday.

It's all Jaguars early, at 76% of spread bets/82% of spread money.

"With the Eagles' backfield banged up, our customers have chased it the whole way. Philly's only real support is the +275 moneyline," Hard Rock's Jon Chapper said.

The total hasn't seen nearly as much movement, but is down to 42 from a 43 opener.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Jacksonville (3-1 SU and ATS) has put together back-to-back impressive wins. After a home smoking of New England, the Jags went to Cincinnati as 2.5-point pups and exited with a 22-17 victory.

Philadelphia (2-2 SU/0-4 ATS) still hasn't delivered at the betting window this season. In Week 4, the Eagles led the Rams 20-10 well into the fourth quarter. But Philly gave up two touchdowns in the final four minutes of a 24-20 loss catching 3.5 points at home.

On Sunday night, Borgata Sports opened Jacksonville -3.5 in NFL odds Week 5. Jacksonville quickly advanced to -4 for this neutral-site matchup in London.

"Early money has come in on the Jags, laying 3.5," Borgata sportsbook director Tom Gable said. "The Eagles are dealing with a host of injuries and other issues to key players, and the Jags will be in their second home here in London.

"This number could get over 4 before kickoff, depending on the availability of Saquon Barkley, DeVonta Smith etc."

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Dallas Cowboys Odds

  • Opening point spread: Cowboys -10
  • Opening moneyline: Cowboys -550/Buccaneers +425
  • Opening total: Over/Under 47.5 points scored
  • Time: 8:15 p.m. ET Thursday (Prime)

LATEST UPDATE: The Cowboys are 9-point favorites in BetMGM's NFL Week 5 odds, as of 7 p.m. ET, 75 minutes before kickoff. And the book is dealing -105 juice on both sides.

On Sunday, Dallas opened -9.5, then advanced to -10 a couple times Sunday/Monday. The line dropped to Cowboys -8.5 by Monday night, then spent much of the week toggling between -8.5/-8.

Dallas then bumped up to -9 multiple times today, most recently in the past 30 minutes. Tampa Bay will again have rookie Jalon Daniels under center, as Baker Mayfield recovers from a dislocated thumb.

"It's all one-way traffic on the Cowboys, spread and moneyline," BetMGM trading manager Tristan Davis said. "We need the Bucs and the Under."

BetMGM's total is at 49, moving off 48.5 earlier today, after opening at 47.5 and getting to 48 Wednesday.

SECOND UPDATE: At noon ET Thursday, eight hours-plus before kickoff, the Cowboys are 8.5-point home chalk in Hard Rock Bet's Week 5 NFL odds. That's down from Sunday night's opener of Cowboys -10, with the line dipping to -9.5/-8.5 Monday and -8 Tuesday.

Since then, the line has toggled between Dallas -8/-8.5, with the latest move coming Thursday morning. The Cowboys are netting 69% of spread bets/71% of spread money.

Tampa Bay is getting moneyline support (currently +375), with 64% of bets, but that accounts for just 27% of moneyline dollars.

Hard Rock's total is at 48.5, moving off 47.5 this morning. The number opened 47.5 on Sunday and initially backed up to 47 for a few hours Tuesday. The Over is seeing 69% of bets/77% of money.

OPENING ODDS UPDATE: Dallas (2-2 SU/3-1 ATS) bounced back nicely from a final-seconds loss to Baltimore. The Cowboys outlasted Houston in a 34-30 victory as 3-point road underdogs, winning on CeeDee Lamb's 12-yard TD catch with 40 seconds remaining.

Tampa Bay (0-4 SU and ATS) is winless this year and in fact has failed to cover in 13 consecutive games. And the Bucs aren't much better SU in that stretch, at 2-11. In Week 4, Tampa closed as a 2.5-point home 'dog and lost to Green Bay 17-14.

Dallas opened as 10-point chalk Sunday night in Borgata Sports' NFL Week 5 odds.

"The Cowboys are coming off a huge win against Houston to even their record," Borgata sporsbook director Tom Gable said. "Now they welcome in Tampa for Thursday Night Football, as double-digit home favorites.

"Tampa had some backing from bettors in Week 4 as a home 'dog, and the opening money [in Week 5] has come in taking the 10 with Tampa here."
